He looks good. Definitely gotten bigger, I like it.

Man, I really hope this show is good...

Why are you guys bringing your ages into it, as if the film is being delayed for 5-10 years?

It's an extra ten months, folks. It's not the end times.

It completely friggin' sucks. The only way it would not suck is if we weren't expecting it for 2015 from the get-go, lol.

Well, yes, but it is MILDLY frustrating!

I'll say! :csad:

He looks like he has tiny legs...

Maybe in the thighs, but he clearly has good calves. As I said - runner. He has got a long, lean torso as well; never going to win the Olympia anytime soon but that's the point - always hated it when artists draw Flash like he's on the roids.

I hear that. :( That was my exact thought - "at least we still have The Flash show to look forward to this October".

Very sad. I'll be 26 by the time the Man of Steel follow up comes out!

Whoa I had no idea we were about the same age, I'm 23 right now.

I always figured you were an mean old man lmao, especially with the way you talk about the character and the history and stuff. (Dont take that the wrong way lol)

Hahahahaha nope not an old man, just a guy with no life and a devotion to Flash comics and DC characters, lol (well some Marvel too but I have more favorites at DC).

I'll actually be 25 if the film is released in May of 2016 (I too am 23 right now) as it is tentatively scheduled to since my birthday's not til a month later but still... I'll be pretty much 26 the way I see it...you know what I mean, lol.

Sucks. Lol.

Good thing is: we've got nothing but time!

All you old foggies. I'll only be 22 when BvS comes out. ^^

Jeez...I really didn't expect all you people to be more or less my age (22 when BvS comes out, going towards 23)...makes me feel less like the only guy of my generation still reding comics and not only watching the movies inspired by them ;) Haha (btw I realize you'll all be like: "who the heck is this guy? we post here every day". But rest assured I spend my leisure time here too (every single day haha)...like a silent guardian...a watchful...well you've got the reference)

Great choice, sir. Though she's more of a film actor, isn't she?

Not that I know of. In the past few years, she's been on Friday Night Lights, True Blood, Parenthood. The only movie I can think of is that Tyler Perry movie about cheating that had Kim Kardashian acting like Kim Kardashian.

For Vibe, I could see Michael Trevino...

I think I'd be alright with that. I always thought he was really good on TVD, and since they're not doing **** with him, he should cut his losses and move on.

Good thing is: we've got nothing but time!

I suppose that's true...and no DC movie(s) to help pass it! :(

Hopefully The Flash tv show will come to our rescue later this year though... :woot:

And if it does well, hopefully we have MULTIPLE seasons of it to look forward to in the meantime! :)

Haha actually I think people closer to our ages are about the only demographic that reads comics for the most part at all these days....kind of sad but the market kind of shot itself in the foot years ago...I'd love to see it undo it and become more accessible to broader audiences and popular whilst telling good stories and remaining true to the characters, but it may have passed the point of no return for that by now, unfortunately. :-/

Oh and don't be a stranger, friend. :yay:

Yeah I see your point. When I wrote my statement I was actually thinking of people slightly older than us, as they grew up in a time with less possibilities for entertainment. My dad for example and his friends were avid comic collectors in their youth without necessarily being geeks (it's more the fact that he still reads them today that makes him one ;) )...
But you're right. I think the biggest problem of the industry is that it always just focuses on ONE (not necessarily always our) demographic, not multiple. After DKR it was adults (with Grell's GA, Miller's Bats etc....oh and naturally all the Alan Moore classics ) in the Golden Age it was Kids, then in the 90s it became young adults and massive-breasts-as-well-as-pouches-addicts and (except for the pouches, thanks be to the comic-god for that) it stayed like that for quite some time. Now with the new 52 they gave us a big kick in the **** and are concentrating only (or mostly) on younger audiences. I think the best thing would be to produce a wide range of stories which go from gritty and cynical (for young adults and adults) to witty and spidey-like-angst-filled (teenies to young adults)...still producing a lot of Cartoons and simple books for kids.
Ah but one can only dream when it comes to influence DC-Executives, hahaha.

Oh and I'm taking your advice. I won't be, buddy ;)
