I agree he looks great. The chin strap never bothered me in the comics, but I kind of like it in real life.

In this profile shot Gustin looks a hellova lot like Barry from the comics. Well done CW!

I would think that he can make a costume he is a scientist and he would have a better understanding of what materials would be needed for the costume since he would know his powers best anyway.

I actually kind of like the way the chin-strap changes his jaw-line a bit. It provides a nice excuse for why he actually can still emote through his mask but nobody immediately recognizes him.

The Aquaman and WW pilots would like a word with that logic.

I'll give you that, he does lack the resources but we don't know who Barry knows in central city yet.

I wouldn't call Robin a top 10 most popular... he's well known, but as far as popularity goes, I don't know many people that would name drop him as a favorite.

Deadpool could probably snag his spot. He's surprisingly well known outside of comic fans these days after his appearances in (mostly) the games. Even got his own game.

Wow, he looks great! Maybe a tad bit on the darker side though.

I think it has mostly to do with the lightning around him in the picture. It's a dark room, so the colors are going to appear darker. But I know what you mean. It's probably a couple shades darker than the 90s suit.

That said, I'm really curious to how the outfit will look in lighted areas/during the day. I don't see Flash as a night-watchman type of hero like Batman or Arrow's version of Ollie. I'd be surprised if they make him like that in this show.

Do you really think that? Everyone knows who Batman and Robin is. Same goes for Wonder Woman. Ww's 70s series was a pop culture fixture, as was Batman in the 60s. Robin and WW have had way more mainstream exposure than The Flash.

There is absolutely no denying that both Wonder Woman and Robin are much more famous than The Flash.

I think the mask looks beyond great, looks movie quality in this picture. Though I am interested to see the rest of the costume because looking at his shoulders make it seem like there will be some minor differences.

Well lots of people may know who they are, but I know people that would rather read about Flash than either of the other two. But then again I think that's based purely on the fact that he's newer to them and thus more interesting than Robin of WW.
