Does he have yellow on his boots?
I thought that was just a lightning reflection or something.
No, someone lightened it and there's definitely some very big yellow highlights in the boots.
Why mess with the emblem? That's my only problem.(Well, that and the lack of lightning around the gloves/waist)But overall, very nice.I never expected we'd get the yellow boots, but it's hardly a deal-breaker for me.
Same reason they gave it texture, and brought in the lightning bolts: modern design.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that they will connect the TV and film universes. There's really no reason not to anymore. That costume is of cinematic quality - it truly is. Trying to re-trace these steps is just doubling efforts, and it's unnecessary.
Quality isn't the main concern. Most issue is control, both from a business and continuity perspective. Does the DC Cinematic Universe have to use Arrow's Deathstroke? Their Amanda Waller? Their League of Assassins? What if they don't want Dr. Ivo to be motivated by a sick wife? What if they have better actors or a story that's not so tied to the Arrowverse? Do they have to use Flash's time travel theory? Flash's time travel effects? Are they not allowed to kill off Oliver Queen or Barry Allen, if it would help their films?
For the CW, is Flash allowed to save the world, or does the show have to come up with reasons why neither Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are aware their planet is about to get destroyed? Does the CW have to forgo using Nightwing because in the DC Cinematic Universe he's still a lil child? If the Daily Planet shows up for some news thing, do they have to pay Amy Adams and Lawrence Fishburne's hefty fees to appear, or can they simply hire a competent actress to play the role? Does the world outside Starling City really need an Arrow if there's a Batman running around saving the world?
The DC Cinematic Universe will be making 1 or 2 installments a year while Arrow and Flash are making 40 or so. The world can change a lot in 40 episodes, unless of course it can't because it's stuck not contradicting the DC Cinematic Universe. They can coexist as separate universes, like Smallville and SR did, without competing, especially if they don't have any characters in common.
