Matthew Fox is gay? He's married with two kids.

EDIT: I see you figured that out, lol.

Either way, it doesn't matter because he'd be a terrible Batman, imo. Never really warmed up to him as an actor, even after 6 years on Lost. And I think his voice is all wrong for it.

And imagine my surprise when I discovered Prince was actually a straight guy! My bad on that too! :awesome:

I agree with Seth Rogen in Knocked Up when it comes to Matthew Fox.

Straight or gay, Bomer would be miscast as Batman. He's about as threatening as a tiny twig.

Seeing him try to growl at criminals and inspire fear in them would be amusing though.

I'd like to see Fox do a villain basically.

After seeing those Cross pictures, Mr. Zsasz seems like a good fit.

Anyone else here watch "Dexter"? Am I the only one that thinks Quinn resembles Christian Bale? I haven't seen him act in anything else but maybe he'd be a good choice.

I still want Jeffery Donovan as Bruce though. He's too too perfect.

Lee Pace would rock the role of Bruce Wayne and Batman. The guy is criminally underused and anyone who's watched The Fall knows this guy is the real deal.

A great talent who would hand in an incredibly honest and strong performance.

Interesting suggestion, his IMDB profile looks good, and He is in Hobbit ?

That is a huge plus. :yay:

I think he should be considered.

I think Christian Bale is as much of a pretty boy as Matt Bomer.

Joker - Sharlto Copley (District 9)

No one plays unhinged better.

Two-Face - Joaquin Phoenix (Walk The Line)

Now that he's got that rapping performance art out of his system, I want to see Phoenix play a role in the new Batman-verse. Dent is perfect for an actor with such range.

I like these two suggestions. :batman::up:

Lee Pace in anything is what i'd want to see, very underrated, Pushing Daisies is one of my fave shows ever.

He could be Batman, could have been Superman, Hank Pym, Dr. Strange, Mr. Fantastic

Well, that might be kinda pushing it.

Jon Hamm 10 years ago would have been a good Bruce/Batman. Now he's too old. If they want a JL film, then a new franchise, he'll be too old by the end of it. Same with Eric Bana. 10 years ago, definitely.

The actor should be 29 - early 30's if you want him to age well with the character.

The only actor who interests me as Batman right now is Ryan Gosling. Though I'd prefer him as the Joker. But right now, Bale is so damn great in the role, it's really hard to see anyone else playing him after this.

look at Robert Downey Jr.

the guy is almost reaching his 50s and he's still Iron Man

I suggested Lee Pace ages ago.

He's versitile. I think he should test, but he's not the best choice for Batman. He doesn't really have the 'tough guy' thing going for him.

He would have been perfect for Hal Jordan though.

True. But he's aged well. And Stark seems to fit as an older man than a younger one. I don't really want to see an actor playing Batman in his 50's by the end of the franchise. It just all depends on the angle. If he starts out in his early 40's and that's the way the story goes and it's good, then cool. But depending on the angle they go with this, an older actor probably isn't the way a studio wants to go. If they get a more Batman in his prime, then maybe Hamm. But I don't know, his name gets thrown around so much these days for just about every other superhero or fictional character he doesn't become so special to me anymore.

Fassbender would have made a good Bruce/Batman too.

^^^

I actually think Bruce fits as an "older" man much better than stark tbh. Bruce is only playing that kind of lifestyle anyways as opposed to living it as stark does.

RDJ was 43 when he 1st played Iron Man a couple years older than hamm is now.
