Charlie Hunnam gave one of the worst lead performances I've ever seen in a movie I caught on The Movie Channel a while ago. It was called The Ledge, and it just came out last year, but man, were his line deliveries distractingly bad. The other actors in the movie (Patrick Wilson, Terrence Howard) were fine, so it's not like it was just a director issue. I remember not liking him in earlier roles either, so I'm starting to think the guy simply struck gold with his role on Sons of Anarchy and really isn't a very talented/versatile actor. As such, I wouldn't be thrilled with him being cast as ANY major superhero, tbh.

Another good choice with ideal looks. This guy is going to be in The Fast And Furious 6, and The Hobbit (with Lee Pace).

I never said Pace was the only choice or even the best choice for the role, no questions asked. I feel he's the best choice, but if another awesome actor were to be cast tomorrow, I'd be happy.

The issue I have with him is he always looks "rattish" like he's always telling a lie or scheming someway to get out of doing the dirty work himself.
