For some reason, I REALLY like Zachary Quinto for the role.

I actually think Eastwood is too old now I don't wanna sound harsh but if you were to make a trilogy of Batman Beyond fiilms I'm not sure he'd be alive come the 3rd, hopefully he'll live alot longer but he's getting on.
If Fassbender quit the role of Magneto, then I would be OK with him being Batman.
I don't see why it would be a problem. 2 completely different characters from 2 separate universes with absolutely no connection whatsoever.
Well, I can't say I agree as I love the Charles and Erik that First Class established, so I'd love a whole series centered on those two...but I really think audiences are just growing tired of that particular universe in general (especially now that Avengers has shown them just how fun a superhero group can be), and the franchise is 5 movies in already, so the chances of finding a new audience for it at this point is minimal. As much as I look forward to the sequel, I just don't see it doing much better at the box office than FC, and if that happens, I'd imagine a complete re-imagining of the X-Men cinematic universe is probably on the horizon.
How about a Batman Beyond with Clint Eastwood as an aged Bruce Wayne?
If it came down to Fassbender being Magneto or Batman I'd prefer him not to be Batman. Now that I've seen him as Magneto I can't imagine anyone else in the role, and Vaughn's X-Men movie was so interesting that I'd rather get a trilogy for that than have it end just so Fass can play the dark knight.
Agreed. I wouldn't have any problem with Fassbender as Bats as long as he can play Magneto at the same time. I don't see it happening though because I think he's got too many franchises going on at once.
I'm very nervous about XFC2. When I hear of all the characters that are supposed to be in it all I can think is that it's going to be a hot mess. I hope I'm wrong. Vaughn's a good enough director that he can make it work.
I don't understand the obsession with seeing an old Bruce. I don't want my hero to be aged and decrepit.
I haven't been following news on XFC2 this time (last time I just got sick of all the negativity throughout the 'net just because Fox's promo material sucked), so I'm totally in the dark on all that. But I think I want to stay in the dark so I don't start developing doubts like yours, haha. I'll start lowering expectations if it starts getting bad buzz from screenings. Otherwise, I'm just gonna have faith in Vaughn/Goldman/Fassbender/McAvoy to deliver on the promise of the first one.I'm very nervous about XFC2.
