Christopher Lloyd would have made a killer Mr. Freeze. Shave his head and put Judge Doom in a refrigerator suit.

I'm convinced these guys could make great Jokers
Jason Flemyng

Flemyng looks like the Arkham Asylum/City Joker

Vincent Cassel

What about Jude Law for The Joker?I thinks he's an underrated actor, and he was really creepy in Road to perdition.

Jude Law, Sharlto Copley, Walton Goggins, Vincent Cassel [Yup, if he could shake the accent] would all make for a great 'traditional' Joker (I'm thinking a Brian Bolland-esque 'Killing Joke' incarnation here). Hell, their other cmicbook roles aside I even add the likes of Michael Fassbender and RDJ into that mix too.

I always thought that Jason Lee circa Dogma would've been a really good Joker. Maybe not the Ledger or Nicholson take, but something completely different.

Paul Bettany was my other big pick before Ledger got the role.

Sheen could do Joker nay bother:D
Haha, yes. He definitely has the looks and could pull of the personality. There are really so many who could pull off the joker. Some great picks in here guys.

The guy on the bottom could pass for Bales brother

Sharlto Copley.... he looks enough like him to where, if Nolan had gone this route, he would have been a great Hush.

I prefer the 'Killing Joke' version and I have an idea for a guy that I personally feel could portray the complexity of that role very well, if the film is done right... a lot of you will probably think I'm crazy but...... Adrien Brody. This version requires joy, hope, pain, depression, confusion, insanity and horror. Brody, given the right director, could put all of that on screen.

I'm officially on board with Anson Mount as Bruce Wayne. He'd be ideal for the story arc I would go with in a trilogy because I don't want to see big, A-List actors in the film. spend the money on writing, directing and production.

I'm working on an idea for a trilogy that expands The Killing Joke over three films and incorporates two simultaneous storylines. Still a work in progress, but the cast I have so far is:

Anson Mount as Bruce Wayne (GREAT choice, whoever originated this one)
Bryan Cranston as Commissioner Gordon (Duh!)
Adrien Brody as the engineer/comedian/Red Hood/Joker (as I mentioned above)
Amanda Seyfriend as Harley Quinn (If I decide I want to pull her in for the third movie, still debating on that)

I have the other characters, just not the actors yet....

Jude Law can definitely play creepy characters. If, you saw him Road To Perdition. I see him as more a creepy riddler though. He has that smugness about him that screams riddler, plus his small frame.

I think Michael Pitt, given the right direction and makeup, could be a great Joker.

He was very creepy in Funny Games...

Michael Pitt is amazing. Hes so good in Last Days and Funny Games, I support him for Joker.

Also I love the idea of Adrien Brody, Benicio Del Toro, Jude Law, and 90s Jason Lee (he was in the Alvin and the chipmunks movie I dunno if Id want that to be Joker)

Im also really liking the Michael Sheen idea

All of those imo would be great Jokers

Original List from above:
Anson Mount as Bruce Wayne (GREAT choice, whoever originated this one)
Bryan Cranston as Commissioner Gordon (Duh!)
Adrien Brody as the engineer/comedian/Red Hood/Joker (as I mentioned above)
Amanda Seyfriend as Harley Quinn

Viggo Mortenson as Carmine Falcone
Jackie Earle Hayley as Victor Zsasz
Philip Seymour Hoffman as Penguin
Guy Pearce as Black Mask

Also I love the idea of Adrien Brody, Benicio Del Toro, Jude Law, and 90s Jason Lee (he was in the Alvin and the chipmunks movie I dunno if Id want that to be Joker)

You have to cut Lee a little slack. Everyone does a terrible movie from time to time. In that list, Adrien Brody's Splice comes to mind (a different kind of terrible, but still terrible).
