Hardy would've made an incredible Batman. *Sigh* Too bad he played Bane.

Is it possible the audience wouldn't notice or care, though? He didn't look or sound anything at all like his normal self in TDKR. He would play Bruce completely differently.

Tom Hardy - Batman
Gary Oldman - Alfred Pennyworth
Joseph Gordon-Levitt - The Joker

The audience would probably notice since we are discussing it now. The younger Bat fans wouldn't be-able to tell though. All in all I believe that it could work to their (the film makers) advantage.

Also, I believe this man would make an even better Gordon than Oldman.

I'd like to see this man play a comic book inspired Joker, too

If Tim Burton made a Batman today.....

Batman/Bruce Wayne- Andrew Lincoln
The Joker/Jack Napier- Benicio Del Toro
Alfred- Geoffrey Rush

I like the last two a lot. Especially Del Toro as Joker, he was one of my favorite choices before Heath was cast.

Andrew Lincoln as Batman... No thank you. I love Walking Dead but I dont think hes a good enough actor for Batman, he never impresses me, he just gets the job done, nothing extra.

I don't want to pick anyone out here but we need the complete opposite of Christian Bale to play the Batman. Anyone similar to Bale will forever be compared to Bale, the character needs to be re-invented again.

Ryan Gosling as Batman

Benicio Del Toro as Joker (main villain over the course of a trilogy)

Ezra Miller as Dick Grayson

Bryan Cranston as Jim Gordon

How about his look alike Logan Marshall Green?

Now that I think about it, he would make a better Green Lantern...

He would be a great Riddler... or even Gordon

Bryan Cranston is wasted as simply Jim Gordon, he should play Deadshot.

Thanks, It started out as modern Burton cast but i'm starting to like it as it's own thing. I still want Fassbender but if they went older I'd be fine Lincoln.

Have you seen the latest episode? He almost had me in tears.

Hardy as batman is the worst idea I've ever heard. I can barely understand anything he says period. In interviews, as bane, in warrior, in inception. No, no, no. God people just throw crap on the wall. Plus Hardy is not good looking enough. Also, SMH to the guy from house having anything to do with Batman. That guy Changeling had some interesting choices, though. Really love that Pic of Gosling. I have been against Gosling but that pic screamed batman

These are the only choices imo for the new Batman
Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling, Jon Hamm, Anson Mount

I'm gonna throw Diego Klattenhoff's name into the hat. He's very good in Homeland.

This is an interesting idea if theyre going the unknown route, but is the world ready for a ginger batman? :oldrazz:

I'm beginning to like the idea of Karl Urban for Batman in JLA!
(Coz he's pro'lly too old for the reboot)
