The Batman Reboot Casting Thread

Leo would make an amazing Batman.

Leo would be an awesome Bruce Wayne (as seen in Catch Me if You Can), but there's no way he could be Batman.

Ryan Gosling could be an awesome Batman, but I don't see him being a good Bruce Wayne.

Obviously, it's clear what needs to happen. Leo plays Bruce, Gosling plays Batman, in the same movie.

DiCaprio's voice is a deal-breaker for me. I've got no problem with Batman sounding younger than we're used to (which is why I can imagine the also-young-sounding Gosling making it work), but he cannot have that boy-voice Leo is eternally cursed with.

I wouldn't know who to cast as Batman or anyone, but how about Brea Grant as Harley Quinn? She was in series 3 of Heroes, and I think she'd be a good fit.

I can see Amanda Seyfried as Harley personally. She can do crazy and the costume would look awesomely creepy with those gigantic eyes of hers.

But I wanted to add my voice to those that do not want another Batman reboot or retelling of the origin after Nolan departs.

Re-cast if you have to but let's keep some form of loose continuity going....

Ryan Reynolds should be banned from every Comic Book movie. And the Baldwins are too old. I think it would be better if scientists cloned a 28 year old Adam West that doesn't age and just cast him as Batman forever.

Ryan Reynolds should be banned from every Comic Book movie.

That's a dumb thing to say.

Reynolds actual acting in all the super hero movies he's been in has been fine (except for Blade 3, I haven't seen Blade 3). He was actually a pretty awesome Hal Jordan, and is absolutely perfect for Deadpool.

It's been the direction and writing in those films that was bad. It's those d-bags that should be banned.
