If the third movie is a success (and it will be).. Warners WON'T reboot Batman. Bank on it.

Even if Nolan doesn't direct the third, they could have him as a producer/consultant for future films (similar to his role with Superman) and have his producers and writers (Goyer, Jonah etc) still attached.

The Nolan Batman WILL continue till it becomes unprofitable.

I really want Jeffrey Dean Morgan to play Batman. He has that veteran "I"m gonna kick your ass" look. And I'm sure we can all agree that he's a great actor.

If not JDM, then my next pick is Jon Hamm.

I really wonder what their plan is for when Nolan completes his trilogy. I wonder if they'll go with the rumored television show or go with a one-off movie like THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS or a BATMAN BEYOND type movie where Bruce Wayne trains/mentors a new Batman. Personally, I would like to see a new film that is a little bit more like the comics and possibly features Robin. I would like a movie that is not restricted so much by "realism" and has the allowance to delve into more fantastical realms.

They're bound to try and sign Bale again too.


I'm sure Nolan will have some say in who the next director will be that succeeds him. Hoping Goyer's involvement continues.


Very very unlikely there will be ANOTHER Batman reboot after this became a billion dollar franchaise.

Nolan verse is realistic (In a way, not literally realistic :P), which means as long as Nolan is directing there will never be super-powered heroes or villains. Also you REALLY think money didn't come into factor for Ryan Reynolds and Brandon Routh. Sure they are comic book fans, but if I'm positive they wouldn't be doing the movies if they weren't getting a good amount.
