The Batmobile Thread

I actually like that one a lot too. It's like a cross between the tumbler and the burtonmobile.

Though these were interesting....

It's weird how much I loved the Batman Forever batmobile at the time, yet I look at it now (post-Nolan) and think how ridiculous it looks, with fins and things which serve no function. Damn you and your realism Nolan! :D

These two have really grown on me, the first being one that Im using in a story Im deveolping/ writing

And I've always thought this would be good in a Beyond LA movie

That was looks nice! What has been billed as the "original" Batmobile sold recently at auction. But now an older, forgotten model, with a unique design, is up for sale on eBay. You can determine how to purchase used car too.

I really like the Tank idea but if the go for a more comic booky/cartoony Batman that customized will be perfect :

I'd personally like something that's more of a balance between a tank and a car that looks pretty high-tec. For example.

The Tumbler spoiled me. It's going to be hard for me to love a new Batmobile that doesn't have at least some tank like features.

I'm going to miss the Tumbler, still bummed it didn't get a chance to shine at all in TDKR. But I'm excited to see something new. I'd really love to see Greg Capullo's Batmobile design from the comics brought to life:

Alternatively, maybe something a little more down to Earth, but still sleek and clearly a Batmobile:

It's going to be very hard to top the Tumbler.

The designs above are a huge step back in my opinion.

I think they should go for somewhere between the Capullomobile and a Tron futuristic/sleek look.

Try to picture a Tron bike (with less light) but in Batmobile form. That's what's in my head. (Accompanied by a Trent Reznor electronic score and shot by Rian Johnson or Fincher to go along with this overall look

I also think it should be extremely quiet; or at least only make a low ominous noise; it's electric, not a loud engine.

I like some aspect's of the examples in previous posts, but overall they're too 'car'-like. Like Batman just souped up a real car and has to take it to the gas station and stuff.

Sounds good to me.

Those two are quite similar, and that's something that I'd like to see.

It shouldn't have blue lights. Reminds me too much of Shumacer's neon fetish for some reason. Eerie yellow headlights would benefit it more.

And I don't know about it being quiet. I love hearing the Batmobile boom and zoom loudly while chasing someone down. Should have an option of being quiet, but stealthy...but when it needs to go really fast...BOOM of the engine :awesome:

This. It's perfect, imo.

Edit: Actually after seeing it from the side, I think it needs a more thicker, tank-like build and not so slender, while still maintaining the look it has.

Also, I wouldn't mind if he had a lot of different Batmobile models.
