Cool, but I dunno about a Batmobile that's easily defeated by a steep lip or high incline to a driveway. Not saying I want a 4X4, but maybe something a speed bump or pothole wouldn't destroy?
I kind of agree with this.

I would have said a Lamborghini was ideal before, but now I think the best option might be something more along the lines of a muscle car. Maybe like a heavily modified modern Mustang? I mean, Detroit's having some extra problems lately, and they're gonna be filming there, right? I could see them putting Batman in a "local" car too.

let's get as far away from the look of the Tumbler as we can please

The low ride height of the car can be easily offset by air or hydraulic suspension so if Batman ever needs to navigate harsh terrain he could raise the body.

With an older, bigger Batman, I feel like he needs a big Batmobile as well, not something sleek and small.

Mix between Nolan and Burton. Pretty cool.

"I have a minor update regarding location shooting BvS. I was told that location shooting of vehicle chase scenes (read: Batmobile scenes) will not take place until the Summer. I am under the impression that other location shooting, including exteriors — in addition to studio shooting — could begin as soon as next month, but that has not been confirmed. I’ll continue to keep my ears to the ground."

Hmmm

I know this concept car has been used on this thread in the past, but I just went to a site that has other photos of it. I mean, this thing definitely looks like a Batmobile- the interior shot alone looks like a cockpit of some futurist jet!

I am so glad the Tumbler is out of the picture...they never even called it the damn Batmobile. *sighs* Maybe that's a good thing, though.

I actually loved the tumbler - it was a great "real world" application for the Batmobile in the Nolan films, but it wouldn't work in the Justice League world that Snyder is building. The Batmobile needs to be sleek, but strong looking, with hidden non-lethal weapons that pop out with the press of a button.

I always loved BTAS Batmobile & 89 Batmobile. Those are best and it's what I consider originals. Tumbler was inspired by Miller's TDKR so it fitted the world Nolan wanted to create for his vision. I hope to see Synder move away form that and create his own version of the Batmobile.

New to this site but thought I would upload an image of a recent illustration I have produced of the Tumbler. I am a Technical Illustrator by trade, so is nice to do something a little different. As fans of the vehicles yourselves, I thought you might appreciate something a bit different. Let me know what you think :)

If done right, a sequence involving Superman and Batman carrying out a given plan, while Superman is flying and Batman is utilizing the Batmobile could be pretty awesome.

Yeah that probably will happen.

Batman covers the ground, while Superman takes care of any ariel threats.

Welcome!

Very cool stuff!

I think a batmobile chase sounds pretty awesome and also pretty standard to any Batman film, but I just hope it's not supposed to be Superman chasing him because it won't be much of a chase, Supes is a lot faster than any sports car.

Nah it won't be as you said that's a stupid scene Superman chasing Batman who's in the Batmobile. :funny: I'm just guessing here but I think it will be an early scene where Batman is chasing a criminal or something.

Either that, or he's rushing home from a 9-5 at WE... :o

How about something fuel efficient? Times could be hard, even for Batfleck.

A Batmobile with EcoBoost? heheh...
