BvS The BvS Rumor/Speculation Discussion Thread! - Part 4

Three fights is way too many, even if the film is 2 and 1/2 hours long. I think we get two major battles. Batman vs. Superman where is Batman in his normal suit using his normal tech and gadgets. He realizes how powerful Supes is and come prepared for round 2 in the mech suit and fights a weakened Superman. Then the third major set piece is the team up with WW. Basically a major set piece for each act of the film.

Well probably build up to it.

Well the only things that Snyder has said about Aquaman is that:

1. His Trident is strong enough to cut through Superman's skin

2. His appearance in BvS will somewhat be an elusive one, where he's only there to show that he "exists" within this universe.

I'm thinking 2 might not be the case. I don't think he's going to have a big role in the movie but you also don't make an action figure for a character who is "just there". Well, maybe if its "Star Wars"...

Dont rule anything in or out.

So I hear Zodsday may not be the only big twist and that there will be one involving a war between Earth and Darkseid. Fan speculation, of course.

I think the only way that works is if the "knightmare" sequence is a vision of an alternate future. Obviously because we see what looks like parademons.

I imagine the first encounter is a Superman/Batmobile chase. There's no fight because unprepared Batman isn't stupid enough to pick one then and there. (So...Batman - 0, Superman - 1, by default). I imagine Supes just tells Bats to pack it in and leaves, or Bats escapes or something.

And then there's the armored fight where Batman wins (Superman 1, Batman 1). I imagine the only reason Supes is even there is because Lex blackmailed him (via capturing Lois) into meeting Batman for a fight (where Lex is hoping that Batman will kill Superman with the kryptonite he stole from Lexcorp). Supes isn't looking to kill Batman, and he could have ended it any time if he really wanted to by doing so, but eventually the kryptonite takes effect ("now you know what it's like to be a man").

Clark is gonna figure Batman's identity in the first fight.

Yeah a lot of us have been speculating this, and it seems other people from different forums are too.

Aquaman could be in some news report presented to Gen. Swanwick as a proof of his existence by someone. Which is where we will get a brief glimpse of him.

Does anyone have a good screen grab of the parademons?

A vision of an alternate future with parademons and **** just seems too out-of-place and unnecessary for this particular movie, which already has enough things going on in it. There is such a thing is too much world-building for one movie, but we'll see how it plays out.

Pretty much what Age of Ultron did with stories from Black Panther & Ragnorok to Civil War & Infinity Wars all in one film.

Yeah, and I wasn't a fan of that -- mostly the Ragnarok stuff.

So does that mean that Bruce will venture deep into his Bat-Cave, soak himself inside the waters and have a crazy vision while Alfred stands there shouting at him?lol

Is this Easter egg relevant to BvS? Could it be that Lex decode some message in the krypton scout ship, and discovered Bertron's partial how-to-make/how-to-defeat Doomsday?

Don't forget the scenes of Superman saving people at the flood and the rocket and the scene of Batman beating up guys at the warehouse

I'm going to guess that this was the setting for Wonder Woman's vision --future or otherwise, including the parademons(?) that were attacking the super-soldiers and desert Batman fighting off the super-soldiers in the trailer.

Interesting.

Little did we know that Henry had already revealed the villain for BvS:
