Are folks expecting that Superman dies in BvS?

My issue with that is one, though the JL cast has not been formally announced, the JL1 concept art shows Superman part of the team.

As far as we know Supes is in JL1.

Killing him in BvS means he is either brought back within BvS which would be cramming way too much into that film. And be a gimmick.

Or he is brought back in JL1 which would be a major subplot and take time away from introducing the full JL team.

Either way its contrived and awkward.

Superman will be dead by the end of BvS, with no hints of resurrection. Also, there will be no plans to spend JL1 time on a resurrection story. That's where Man of Tomorrow: Reign of the Superman March 2017, stealth directed by George Miller, comes into play. Cast will include Henry Cavill as Superman, Henry Cavill as Cyborg Superman, Henry Cavill as the Eradicator, Shaq reprising his role as Steel, and a CGI'd mix between Cavil/Eisenberg w/ voice acting per Snyder's son as Superboy, and Danny Trejo as Lobo. Announcement to be made at SDCC 2016.

The trinity plus Aquaman all die and The Flash runs back in time and stops Lex from creating Doomsday, causing Darksied to show up.

Well if we're going with crazy theories I'll contribute:

Lois gets killed in the prequel comic, then cloned by Lex Luthor in the film evolving into Bizarro and eventually Doomsday. During the fight, Superman appeals to her better side and she evolves into final form - Jason Todd, that of course becomes the Joker, replacing Jared Leto's fake Joker Joker. They both drive into the sunset in a purple, neon-lit Infinity Vaydor with Supes now wearing the classic Harley Quinn's red and black outfit.

Don't know how it'll play out but hoping Batman's smarts are the clincher because he needs to be important next to the super powers to have relevance.

It would be very cool if it shows superman, ww, and aquaman just waylaying the crap out of Doomsday with little or no affect.
Meanwhile, Batman is off to the side, studying the weaknesses of Doomsday.
After careful study, he sneaks up behind Doomsday and hits a weak spot, knocking him out/down.
Can you imagine the look on the big three's faces if something like that happened.
A human that knocked Doomsday down/out. gold.
