It would be very cool if it shows superman, ww, and aquaman just waylaying the crap out of Doomsday with little or no affect.
Meanwhile, Batman is off to the side, studying the weaknesses of Doomsday.
After careful study, he sneaks up behind Doomsday and hits a weak spot, knocking him out/down.
Can you imagine the look on the big three's faces if something like that happened.
A human that knocked Doomsday down/out. gold.

Ahem...

Forgive me but that would be the absolute worst crap I have ever seen. If that were to happen, guess what? By sacrificing the inherent dignity of three of the biggest DC Heroes to prop up Batman again, you have doomed the other solo films and the JL film to less than stellar BO.

For the trillionth time.... This is exactly what has been going on with Batman for 30+ years or more. A popular character makes the rest of the line of heroes seem moot, and in a way that is asinine in the extreme to placate said character's fans. All this does is undermine any efforts to actually make the other characters popular and profitable in the wider pop culture.

Sorry to be so aggro but this is the sort of **** that has held DC characters back for far too long. Batman is already popular, he doesn't have to be ridiculously written to make the other characters seem besides the point. Who needs to get into the other characters in the wide and varied world of the DCU when in the end it's all gonna come down to the guy with a flying rat costume, a belt and some boomerangs? Is that harsh? Yeah. Does it pain me to say stuff like that? Yeah, cuz I love Batman, but this mentality of having to sacrifice all other characters upon the alter of the BatGod is not now, nor has it ever been, a formula for success for the rest of the DCU.

I want DCE/WB to be in the DC COMICS SUPERHERO BUSINESS, not the Batman business, which is more or less what they've been in since Frank Miller's success with TDKReturns was beaten into the ground.

No, it would show that he has skills that proves he belongs in a group with the likes of a superman or WW. imho of course.
If you dumb him down, ala nolan, then why even have him. A Batman like that would last all of two seconds in this universe.
I see nothing wrong with proving he is one of the most smartest people on the planet, on the same level of a Lex.
And this is coming from someone who puts Superman first and above any other CB character.

Batman finds his weakness, plants some bombs or whatever on Doomsday, heavily effects him which the superpowered couldn't do, but with Doomsday weakened, it leaves Wonder Woman and Superman to give the final blows.

Nah, just have Doomsday show up and let Batman knock him out with one punch. BOOM. Roll credits.

Snyder seems committed to the "what would all this look like if it took place in our real world?" adaptation. So I absolutely agree that this Batman is going to have to be more vulnerable and fallible. He's a mortal fighting alongside and against gods! However I do also think that will make him all the more determined to become even more resourceful and ingenious than ever.

Batgod... we will not see. (Well, at least not for a very long while... who knows, maybe in a solo Batman film at some point far in the future of the DCEU.)

Maybe that's what will happen in Batman's Darkseid dream, lol. He'll feel all cocky, and then he'll wake up and have his ass handed to him.

I can't wait to see your name during the credits, production god and all.

I think he's mainly just venting about something larger in scope that irritates him Vaibow. :cwink:

I don't know mate, i just feel that when a poster writes something that krypton inc doesn't agree with, to put it bluntly, he writes a convoluted often belittling response that isn't needed. I've noticed it so many times and it just gets boring - ofcourse i appreciate it is the freedom of speech and how things may not always appear in text, how they were originally meant but i'm just thinking sometimes, let it go. It's almost as if he wants to be a mod or something! I don't have any personal beef - it's just not for me.

Oh its cool. I have no problem with him, never have. I can appreciate opinions other than my own, even if they're wrong.....joking :).

I haven't seen that side too much but he writes so well, though, and makes such great points that I may not notice it.

Krypton is at least someone that with whom one can have a civil and respectful debate, and he is nothing if not original and independent in his thinking. The thing that kind of turns me off here is more the belittling piling on that I sometimes see take place. Like a wolf pack taking down a prey animal. I believe in following the Golden Rule so I have to admit my heart always sinks a little whenever I see it.

That Empire cover is just weird looking to me. He looks unwell.

I still think it's taken out of a seen where he's weakened from fighting, kryptonite, or just extremely pissed and crouching down to take off at whoever the hell he's looking at. Wait a minute...he's looking a m-*gets superpunched in the head*

I think all 3 will help defeat Doomsday.

Definitely. I do want to see Batman be the one who works out Doomsday's weakness (because... let's be honest, here... next to a god and a goddess, Batman's useless otherwise), but it needs to be the Trinity that takes Doomsday out.

Maybe it's all the concrete dust on his face and hands, making him look pale like that. You see a lot of that behind him. They should've just spread a bit of it onto his suit as well.

I often wonder what Bats will do during the Doomsday fight. I remember reading awhile back that we would use a spear of some sorts...

Batman pulls out Poseidon's Trident and a green Power Ring from a pouch on his utility belt and one-shots Doomsday. Credits roll. Then mid-credits it pans back to Batman who says "IT'ZZ BECUZZ I'M BAAAATMAAANN!!! " Credits finish rolling

Although I 100% agree that the taking down of Doomsday should be a team effort. I do believe that the final blow should be Superman's and Superman's alone. He is a Superman villian after all. It would be like Wonder Woman or Superman defeating The Joker. He's Batman's villian so it should be Batman's triumph.
