I don't know if this is true. Just posting here... But I hope it's true!!!

Filming for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" in Chicago has reportedly already wrapped up. However, it didn't end without set photos being leaked. One of the set photos from the Windy City allegedly proves the death of Bruce Wayne's parents will be revisited in the sequel. Meanwhile, another set photo from the Lake Orion, Michigan production reveals a memorial for the Wayne's. However, a report suggests Robin's death should also be featured in the movie.

Cinemablend claims "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" should also look into Jason Todd's death for a funeral flashback. In the original DC comics, Todd became second Robin after Dick Grayson became Nightwing. The caped crusader reportedly felt such remorse over not being able to stop Robin's death from the hands of The Joker. Batman may have taken new partners after Jason, but the "guilt weighed heavily on him." "Showing how devastating Jason's death was to Bruce would give the audience an idea of how this Batman is motivated by his past mistakes, which may have also led him to pushing away his allies so that they wouldn't get hurt," writer Adam Holmes said.

It's still uncertain if "BVS" will feature a female robin. The International Business Times once noted Jena Malone's Instagram selfie, where she's seen with bright red hair. The cryptic photo allegedly hinted the actress would be playing as Batman's sidekick. However, the inspiration for the "Man of Steel" sequel supposedly relies heavily on the concept from "The Dark Knight Returns" that it's possible Jason Todd's Robin will be featured.
Additionally, it's interesting to note that "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will feature an older caped crusader. Considering that "BVS" is the "closest to the comics to date," says capedcrusaders.com, then it's fitting to address Batman's former partners in crime-fighting, specifically Jason Todd's Robin and his death.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens up the DC universe so it's believed Robin's death will also give way to future events. Per Holmes, it can lead to a Robin standalone film and even be "one of the driving forces that motivate Batman's actions in the DCCU."

...hmmmm

it is totally possible it is Brainiac. Considering he is just a computer program/AI after all. maybe Zod had him on his ship? Somehow when Lex is tampering with it he gets into Lex's systems. From there he goes any/everywhere.
in any event I think the other baddie in the film is either a corrupted Superman or Bizarro/clone or Metallo disguised as Superman to discredit him.

the command key did looked kinda iffy. they could have retrieved it from one of those base planets they went to.

And it could mean an early preview of Joketo as well.

Hmm.. I just realized that casting many of the DC Universe characters so early is actually a very good thing.

It makes things easier by having those same actors at disposal to use them for flashbacks or short cameos, without having to worry about changing the actor afterward or rushing things and making the wrong cast decision, which could always happen of course, but this eliminates at least one reason for it to happen...

This is just what "Adam Holmes" wants to see. Is somebody actually running with it as a story? lol

I'd be all for it, especially if it leads into an Under the Red Hood live action movie.

Is everyone even reading the linked Cinema Blend article? It isn't a rumor from the set, it is the writer hoping it will happen in the movie.

Wait.

I thought Carrie Kelley's Robin will be the one who dies in this movie?

Yes, but so what? We arent acting like this is fact just hoping it is true. This is a rumor thread after all ;)

Radio,

No one even knows if Carrie Kelly is in the film, it has never been confirmed.

I think there's a good chance we get a montage to bring us up to speed as to what has gone down in this version of Batman's life to get him to where he is in the film, at least some of the big dramatic moments that are germane to the plot and his character. So, something like a nightmare or dream sequence where we see the murder of his parents, their funeral, Jason's funeral ect. Something like that wouldn't surprise me.

I agree. It takes little time and doesnt clog up the story itself.

Snyder is going to rev up the feels meter to 1000% in this film if that turns out to be true.

Interesting.

I do think this is a stone Marvel has left unturned. There have been emotional moments of course, but no character stays dead and the tone reverts to a crackling banter soon enough.

If Snyder can deliver big emotional punches - and ones with consequences - then the DC universe can climb up
