Yeah for sure. If you believe the Brainiac=JL1 and Darkseid=JL2 rumors, then you believe that Lex and Doomsday=BVS, it's all from the same source. That also means you believe that Hal Jordan will be the GL and that he will be brought in at the end of the first JL film

I never read any such "source" to put villains together per film, it just make sense in a manner of Supes' big bads.

...and I have zero idea of guessing which GL it will be. I, and most of us, have been wrong about BvS more times than not. Haha

His facial features also bear some resemblance to the Greek god, Hermes. My speculation is that they chose Miller not only because he is a good actor and not only because he is Jewish, but bears some resemblance/could pass for a Greek god.

Thank you. Just setting up the overly convoluted back story of the New Gods (even streamlined) is going to take some big bites of screen time. To do that AND also include Brainiac?

I don't know, but it seems if certain parties here had their way, wanting to believe BvS has Lex, Doomsday and Metallo, wanting JL to use Darksied's AND Brainiac, it seems they are chomping at the bit for Terra-Man and the Prankster for the solo film.

People want Brainiac for JL1, Darkseid for JL2

And i haven't seen people suggesting Metallo AND Doomsday for BvS. I think people want either Lex and Metallo or Lex and Doomsday

JL2: Darkseid
MOS2: Lexiac or Metallo and Lex

That could work to, I'm just wondering Zack might short change both if we get Brain for part one and Darksied for Part 2...wouldn't you think so? I mean Darksied is gonna take probably more than one film to explain his origins and his motives, unless they cover it (Thanos style)over the course of all the movies lined up.

No. Not obvious in the least. Other than maybe New Gods involvement (MAYBE), sorry... I fail to see any of that as obvious. I know what is obvious to me is that using Brainiac, Superman's number two villain, in a JL film, robs his solo film of using a powerful enemy. Unless ya'll WANT another solo Superman film where Luthor is the main threat? Also, the JL has more than enough villains that are better suited to go up against the team than cannibalizing one of it's members rogues first time out the gate on film.

Lord Vyndtyx was a basically an allpowerful devil that Superman had to outwit instead of outpunch
Superdoom was an alternate Universe version of Superman who killed other Superman.
Hel was an emotionless warrior with evolved Kryptonian abilities.

i think doomsday in bvs works. the league hasn't been fully formed, the world is a bit apprehensive about him, he dies saving the planet again in someway, the heroes who sprung up in his wake decide to have some sort of correspondence amongst each other, because of his death. he returns, and sees other heroes being heroic, afterwards they decide to start the league just in case another threat like doomsday shows up.

there's probably way too much going on already as is so i don't know how likely it is.

Doomsday will always be known as the one who put down Superman. Him fighting (the original seven members of) or being associated with the Justice League as a villain is just a pipe dream.
