Snyder is doing all shootings by himself there is no second unit.
Really? so he has been spotted at every shoot thus far?
Impressive on his part.

HEH HEHOff the top of my head three times.![]()
Hell be too busy with the JL movies to have time for the Superman movie.Unless they want to release the Superman movie after 2020.
My Choice for Snyders Replacement is Duncan Jones
Cuaron for JL2
I bet it's not the president's funeral. I bet it's Superman's funeral. The extras saw a huge elaborate funeral procession, but they don't know the details of the script, so to keep it a secret they were told it was the president, because honestly if Superman had a funeral it would look the same as the president's.

I still think Death of Superman could be worked into this movie. i feel like if they wait too long, it could disrupt the forward momentum of the franchise, but it could also be done really well.
I think two movies is enough to kill off Superman. It doesn't take 3 movies of buildup for a death to have an impact.
Considering everything they have going on in this film, I feel like the "Death" story line would be trimmed significantly if crammed into this.
Even though this film is an eventual setup for the "Justice League" film, it shouldn't feel like the film was made for just that purpose alone. Frankly, it puzzles me a lot on how some (not referring to you) keep wanting to jam MORE AND MORE stuff in this film, especially after we've seen from past comic book films (Spider-Man 3/X-Men 3) on how bad that can end up being for the actual film.
People just want to insert as many Easter Eggs/Story lines into this film and seemingly care less about wanting an actual good film that can stand on its own feet.
Plus, the whole reason for why the "Death" story line worked was because of how long and well established Superman was to the community within the DC Universe.
This film is meant to open up the DC universe more. By the time all is said and done, Superman will probably have just only formed an alliance with Batman at the end of the film.
They could try to force emotions into the setup all they want, but at the end of the day, it won't really hold a candle to the type of impact that Superman's death should have if he died in a period where he was well loved by many on Earth and where he was viewed as a leader/hero by the hero community as well.
But I doubt anything I say will change your mind on the matter since I know that you've lobbied for the Death story line to happen in this film for a long time.
Whilst i fully agree with you,its obvious the Death of Superman is being used in this story as a means for Superman to win peoples trust.
Im assuming He dies another way.It cant be Doomsday for the reasons you stated. It has to be doing something so Valiant the world is forced to realize what he is.Not to mention the logic behind it makes no sense. People hate him for the Zod fight, so he dies in another similar fight and everyone loves him? Zod is more of a threat to the world than Doomsday...hell he was literally destroying it.
and to justify the need for a Justice League.
Not sure why Supermans absence is needed to justify a Justice League
It's an interesting comparison, actually. The man vs nature concept. Zod presented a calculated plan based on technology and science. Terraforming a planet. Doomsday would present himself as a literal unstoppable force of nature sweeping the globe. Not to mention the logic behind it makes no sense. People hate him for the Zod fight, so he dies in another similar fight and everyone loves him? Zod is more of a threat to the world than Doomsday...hell he was literally destroying it.
And what people are citing as evidence is specious at best. Saying that it being the POTUS' funeral is less beliveable that it being for Supes is reaching.
For the first film, Snyder wanted to show just how destructive Kryptonians can be. He wanted to show that there would be collateral damage on a massive scale. While I disagree hugely with what Snyder ultimately did, I've always felt that a villain like Zod allows a story to show things that a character like Superman can't and won't do.
This time around, I think Snyder should do the exact opposite. Every single person should be saved. In fact I'd like to have seen this in the origin story to earn the trust of the people, but they didn't do it then so they might as well do it here. Nobody dies, nobody gets critically injured. Superman saves everyone and he pushes himself harder and harder to do it, determined not to fail anybody. Do that, and if saving everybody means that Superman ends up making the ultimate sacrifice, so be it.
