1. Who was the sexiest girl in the film?
2. At what points did your audience applaud the loudest?
3. Is there chemistry in the Wanda/Vision relationship?

1. To me, Natasha. But I am biased :ilv:

2. When Black Panther showed up was loud but the loudest was when first Peter, then later as Spidey, showed up on screen. Felt like a sporting event with the cheering. Really cool to witness.

3. Yes. I thought there was. They work together. Vision was very funny as well.

How would making Clint a widowed deadbeat dad make him a more enjoyable character to watch?

I thought he was fine in AOU and I enjoyed his part in Civil War.

Renner is far too old to be playing the rebellious comic book version of Clint who has a chip on his shoulder and wants to be out of Steve's shadow. I really don't see how he could morph into the Fraction lovable loser interpretation either or how that would be viable in the current movies.

He wouldn't be going back to the farm all the time and could actually be a part of an interesting storyline. I don't care how they do it honestly. It's great that you like his character as is, but I want more.

Do spidey and tony ever have a back and forth with the quips? Who quips better Tony or Spidey?

1. Aunt May
2. Spider-man's entrance and when Scott goes giant
3. Yeah they have nice chemistry. Feels pretty natural for being between a witch and an android

Yes they do in a manner of speaking and it's very funny. They're about equal. Pete is just a kid and it shows but in a good way.

Spidey even asks the team about Empire Strikes Back and if they remember a scene in it "with those giant metal things" to help them take down Giant Man.

He is so good. I can't gush enough about Spidey/Pete.

He's a supporting character. It doesn't matter if his home base in the farm, he was only there on screen as long as the other Avengers were there as well. He can still do his missions like he did in Civil War. Making him a horrible father who abandons his motherless kids isn't going to make any more people care about him as a character, it would just make him a scumbag.

It's fine you want more but as a character as he exists in the MCU he now has a backstory and a family that they are not going to hand wave away and pretend didn't happen. Best case scenario for the version of Hawkeye you want is they do a Netflix series with a younger actor that takes place in the 1990s but then he'd be part of SHIELD, not the Avengers.

What about a prequel for clint? We could see what happens in Budapest or something

Too funny when Peter called it an "old movie" and I think Rhodey asked how old the kid was and Tony replied, he didn't know since he didn't carbon date him. :woot:

@TalismanRing absolutley! That and when Tony tells him he's done go home and Spidey is all like "I'm good, (Grabs his ribs) owwww, okay I'm done". I was roaring. So good.

Hawkeye's onscreen personality is just so much better. Honestly, after seeing him in Civil War - I think the Russo's would make a helluva Hawkeye movie.

Russo's are the new Whedon. Everyone was prasing the guy up until AoU. :funny:

...actually thats kinda sad.

I wanna get a still of spidey swinging around Giant Man and just hang it everywhere

He has the same "costume" from Age of Ultron, but we see him wearing people clothes in scenes at the base. The one notable thing he does is accidentally gravely injure Rhodey by hitting him with an energy blast meant to take down Falcon.

He tries to fit in by wearing sweaters and slacks.
They definitely display his density altering properties a lot more in this.
(Phasing thru things and becoming super dense)

Thank you both. So nothing epic during the airport battle? Another question, who does Spidey fight against during the battle?

Thanks!

Spidey fights a bunch of them. Ant-Man/Giant-Man, Cap, Bucky, Falcon. And he is a tough kid. Holds his own. He's fast and seems to be a smart fighter.

Okay, so this is sort of random question but it just randomly came to me earlier today and I thought I'd asked, not that it's even important. What does Peter's hair look like? Tom's sported so many styles that it could really be anything and I'm just curious. If anyone could maybe find a picture of him with a hairstyle similar to what he has in the film that would be cool. Thanks!

Oh, and a possibly less weird and more useful question, how many scenes would you say Zemo has? And how exactly does he play the role?

Mainly Bucky and Sam at first.
Then a one on one against Cap.
Then ensemble against Big Scott Lang.

Pete's hair is I guess classic side part you could say? Hard to explain. Zemo was good and played his part well. He's creepy, angry, and vengeful. I'd say 5-6 solid scenes for him or so. I thought each one he was in impacted the movie well.

Nothing against Jeremy Renner, but I never was all that enthusiastic about him playing Hawkeye. It really only seemed like a way to capitalize on his buzz from Hurt Locker.

He bombed in Bourne Legacy too.

My problem is that Hawkeye has always been a hot dog and a rogue of the team. He has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. Part of that is because he's a reformed criminal trying to go straight. Another part of that is because he's in the shadow of Captain America. At times, he's also a bit of a loose cannon too.

There was a time when he left the Avengers to lead the Thunderbolts because he wanted to step out of the Avengers and Cap's shadow and be a leader for his own team. That was a big turning point and moment for Hawkeye.

In the films we've lost all of that. Sometimes Renner cracks jokes, but Hawkeye has always been a bit of a Joker. He brings a lot of levity to the stories, and he has the air of a swashbuckling hero, a bit like Errol Flynn or a rogue-ish pirate.

Hawkeye has no flair anymore. He's now just a boring dad and family man. I don't want his family to get butchered. The people who want his family to go away want to see the Hawkeye they remember from the comics, who wasn't a family man and wasn't ready to settle down. They want his family to go away because they want to see Hawkeye as a single, hot dogging rogue.

In Age of Ultron, most of the jokes went to Tony Stark. Hawkeye had like one joke about shooting Quicksilver when no one was looking basically.

The problem is that killing his family won't bring back a more faithful Hawkeye either. We're just kind of stuck with this Hawkeye. And this is why we will never see a Hawkeye movie or series. Renner can't carry his own movie. It will never happen. Renner is not a draw, and he can't fill in the seats if they made a movie about Hawkeye.

Quoted for the sad truth.

This is why I think that they should reveal that the Hawkeye we've seen in the movies is not Clint, but his older brother Barney. They could hire a younger to play the "real" Clint/Hawkeye. Hell, since this is Disney, they can get one of those ex Disney show kid stars to play Clint (like one of the twins from ZACK AND CODY).

Thank you very much! Ooh, that's how I was hoping he'd play it! I'm excited to see him in it!

And would you say his hair looks anything like this?
