From everything I've seen it looks like Winter Soldier was their one assassin, their secret weapon. He's the one they sent on missions, they obviously tried to create more but we saw what happened. We can't assume there are other assassins.

The whole "other Winter Soldiers" thing sort've usurped Bucky (which I didn't like). They were stronger and even better than he was. Then they turn out to be nothing but fodder when they're shot in the head during cryo by Zemo.

Based on what we saw in the film, Spider Man should be well stronger than Cap, Bucky & Black Panther. Remember the video clips Stark showed Peter Parker of his Spider Man exploits? We saw Spider Man lifting a car with ease. That’s consistent with past movies too.

Black Panther is more durable though thanks to his vibranium. I am but bummed we didn't see Spider Man and Black Panther fight.

With all these positive Black Panther comments I am excited to see his solo. Did BP seem like he interacted with any particular avenger more than another? Of the people whom saw it who would be their best guess of another one of the main cast showing up in his film as a cameo?

He had a lot of interaction with Romanoff.

Was not expecting that. HMM...this is not going to end up another BRUSTASHA fiasco? I am not a strict cannon person...I kind of like the MCU enthusiasm for changing it up and creating and adding different things to the universe of Marvel.

If by Brustasha you mean another Banner/Romanoff thing? Then no it won't.

After Romanoff, I would say he next most interacted with Cap.

Thats good to know. Maybe Cap and her both will make a cameo in BP, i mean Bucky is there so there might be a tie to them just with his presence in Wakanda

Could have sworn that when they were in the chamber, one of the pods was open and the other four were killed....

Did I see that correctly...?

He looks like Ant-Man but, like, a LOT bigger.
:woot:

Yes exactly.

And the humour was great! It's not too much and forced like in AoU, but they just nailed the timing of the humour. Not only do the Russo brothers know how to direct drama, suspense and action, but they have great comedic timing as well.
I think they have the right amount of restraint which is needed to use humour well without it impinging on other elements. Great to hear!

Final thoughts before I hit the sack.....Downey and Tom Holland have great on-screen chemistry together.

That would have been fun. Super agility all over the place, would have been hard to keep track of them!

Agreed. Peter's recruitment by Tony was great. Peter's awkwardness works really well with Tony's smug demeanor and humor.

Him webbing Tony's hand to the door, along with Tony's reaction was priceless. :funny:

I couldn't understand the motivation of Clint and scott in joining the battle in Germany.

So clint is basically bored with retired life? he miss the adventures? hence when cap calls, he took it up because he crave fighting?

As for scott, the character wasn't consistent with his solo film. I thought he wanted to stop being a criminal so badly in his solo movie. So scott joins the Germany battle because he is a big fan of Steve?

I really dug the Thor and Hulk name drop by Ross, however in a practical sense, do the higher ups really think they can control Thor? I mean, he's practically a demi-god and he's not under Earth's jurisdiction, plus he's royalty from another world.

Yeah. Thor would just say "You're so petty ... and tiny" for even thinking of controlling him LOL

Clint's was okay. He had a connection with Wanda in AoU, and that was his way into the fight, helping her. You're right on Scott's though. No real motivation given. In fact, its the only really weak beat in the movie in terms of why the characters do things.

Thor and Hulk are the two most OP Avengers. Not having them in Civil War wasn't a coincidence, it was strategic. They'll return when we need them, for the Infinity Wars! :wow: I get Goosebumps even saying that lol.

I smiled pretty much every second those two were on screen together. The scene in Pete's bedroom was a masterpiece of exposition done well. It told the audience everything they needed to know about Pete in a fun, humorous way. The video clips were great at demonstrating quickly how his powers work.

Can't wait for Homecoming. Really glad RDJ is going to be in it. You get the impression from interviews that he and Holland got on really well, and that translated to the screen beautifully.

So, regarding Alfre Woodard's character in the movie ... she said she was into politics or something, right?

This was amazing...

The post credits scene was great. :woot:

IM3 foretold that Downey as Stark would have great chemistry with any Parker worth their salt. They nailed it.
