oh i see, do they explain WHY? he's a walking arsenal, i don't understand the impetus for giving him a melee-style weapon. Do they explain that?

No explanation given. But you can assume that he basically just has a non-lethal option, for situations where he just needs to subdue a target.

Also, what happens to it? Does somebody break it? Does he even get so much as one hit with it?

just like...whats the deal with that thing? it's baffling to me...

Only seen it once, don't know exactly what happened, but I think he kinda crash landed and the thing broke. I think.

From everything I've seen it looks like Winter Soldier was their one assassin, their secret weapon. He's the one they sent on missions, they obviously tried to create more but we saw what happened. We can't assume there are other assassins.

I think it makes only sense to assume that an organization like Hydra as multiple assassins. But Winter Soldier gets all the high profile Missions, that absolutely need to be successful.

ohhhhh yeah, i hadn't thought of that. Yeah i guess that WOULD make sense. That is the sort of thing that Jim Rhodes would think of. hmm, mmkay. Well, is it cool? Or does he just like...pull it out and go "hey look at this thing, you like this?" or whatever. It looks sort of anti-climactic, or just kinda lame, i dunno. Is that the case, or is it actually kinda cool?

well i mean yeah, i think it's arguable that Winter Soldier is probably the best wet-work guy that Hydra's had. Or at least one of them. Arguably.

I think the line goes like "This isn't gonna kill you Cap, but it's gonna sting real bad." Not sure if that is the correct line. Was never any good at remembering lines.

ohh okay, that's kinda cool. I think i can boogey with that.

So are there any other surprise characters in the movie?

any surprise villains? How many are there?
You've got Zemo, you've got Crossbones, you've got Winter Soldier (arguable, cuz he's kinda turning back to the heroic side), etc. so that's 3 (2-ish)...?

are there any other villains that show up? Klaw maybe? anybody?

i have seen the film twice, i believe all those high profile missions were carried out by winter soldier-bucky. Yes hydra manage to steal howard stark's serum and created more WS, which are in fact much much stronger than bucky!, however they are all unstable and can't be used.

I also like to add that i personally feel that Bucky in activated winter soldier mode fight much much better than when he is not password activated.

do you guys feel this way too?

well i haven't seen the war yet, but judging from WS i would say...probably. it would make sense. when he's switched on he's focused, and when winter soldier is focused he's one of the most dangerous captain america villains there is. i don't think we've seen enough, or at least i'll speak for myself since i haven't seen civil war yet, but from what I've seen in these movies, yes i would say you're right. And i suppose that goes for the comics as well, i can't really remember - it's been many moons since I've cracked a book. But movie-wise? Yes, i'd say you're right on the money

Could the end of this film be why Captain Marvel comes to be? Government creating a hero doesn't sound so crazy. Carol Danvers is a soldier and I could see Ross and a few other higher ups wanting a new symbol since Cap is a fugitive.

very interesting point u got there.! if the movie goes that route, i would not mind.

Just came back home from watching the film and it was very good. Better than BvS I think in almost every way. It was well-paced and took its time developing the story and ideological clash. Acting was excellent.

I’ve got to side with Tony Stark’s argument about superhero regulation, although the beauty of this film is that it presents both sides in a very convincing way.

The airport battle sequence was fantastic, although so much happens it’s hard to keep track. Giant Man got the biggest cheer from the theater crowd.

Spider Man & Black Panther were great. Vision & Wanda I think were not utilized as well as they could've been, but they weren't bad.

Although I didn’t see anything controversial about the ending, which is what the Russo brothers were saying, and I felt there could’ve been greater emotional impact if they killed off one of our heroes.

I naturally assumed WS killed Tony's parents after Cap 2. Yeah, they are other assassins who could have but for angst and drama's sake, it would be WS.

Yes. There's a scene in Captain America: Winter Soldier when Rogers & Romanoff are in that bunker, and newspaper reports are shown during Arnim Zola's speech of Stark's parents being killed in a car crash.

It was cool to see Thor & Banner name-dropped by Secretary of State Ross. Although there was no mention of Stephen Strange unless I missed it.

what did they say about Hulk? Do we know what's going on with him at the moment?

Ross just asked do they know where the Hulk is because he if he was missing a Nuke he'd be in trouble. Something like that, don't remember it word for word.

Damn it I was going to wait 6 days, but I can't control myself. Can anyone tell me about Tony and Wanda interacting? Do they? I've seen contradicting statements on whether or not Wanda stopped holding a grudge against Tony for her family or if she still might hold one?

Cool, glad you liked it. I still can't really imagine what Giant Man is going to look like on screen. That probably got a huge cheer as it was unexpected by the GA and not something seen before in CBMs.

2 Best Scenes where the Leipzig(Germany Hurra) Scene what else i mean SpiderMan in his I m Home Glory and Giant Man Damn i never Imagine Giant Man would Look so Perfect Ant Man Surprises again

and The Starks Car Accident Death Scene Damn that was Really The Saddest Scene from the Entire MCU yet

When Ross was introducing the Sokovia Accords he asks Cap something like "Any idea where Thor & Banner are?" sarcastically, as a way of justifying his arguments about the current lack of regulation and oversight.

They do a good job of linking to past movies that doesn't make it confusing to new viewers.

Yes exactly.

And the humour was great! It's not too much and forced like in AoU, but they just nailed the timing of the humour. Not only do the Russo brothers know how to direct drama, suspense and action, but they have great comedic timing as well.

He looks like Ant-Man but, like, a LOT bigger.

It actually completely surprised me. I remember there was speculation and talk about Giant Man appearing in the film, but I was so preoccupied with seeing Spider Man and Black Panther I completely forgot about GM and when he finally appeared I was smiling silly.

Giant-Man was awesome and I hope he's also featured on Ant-Man and The Wasp(he most certainly will). In the sequel I also hope the Ant-Man costume changes to a Giant-Man version instead of staying the same.
