His wife specifically told him to stay out of jail. If he remained imprisoned on The Raft by the Secretary of State of our country you think they'd just gloss over that?

It's not consistent with the character that was written in his own movie, but for entertainment purposes it was fun watching him fight. He really doesn't have any reason to be there.

I see it as being perfectly consistent with who Scott is, as a character; in the movie and the books. consider what he went to prison for. his ex-wife tried to talk him out of that, too (it's in the prequel comic). if he would risk everything to take part in Hank Pym's incredibly dangerous and illegal scheme, why would he deny Captain America? he's an easily led dude. and his history in the comics show him to be someone who would do anything for a friend or authority figure; almost always risking his freedom in the process (i.e. Armor Wars, breaking into the Triune Understanding, his current stint in prison).

This is more in the what if category but I am curious for the people who saw the movie was there any hints of what might be to come for IW? I know there were no blatant Easter eggs in the end credits but was there anything you felt that was pointing to something ominous?

Or was there something left unresolved that you hope gets addressed in IW?

There are no direct setups for Infinity War, but of course the schism within the Avengers remains unsolved so that will be addressed in IW. My guess is that this is the first step to having the heroes in shambles when IW starts.

I think Ragnarok and GotG 2 will have more direct setup for what will come in IW.

I still feel sad for Tonh about that. Wonder what he did.

Yeah I imagine so. Hoping that Doc Strange starts to pull things together as well since it's the next out. Not sure how far they are in the process of actually writing the screenplay. Was really hoping to have a end credit scene with a connection to that movie.

He made ultron...

He blew up all his armors for her.. then created an army again and a monster.

She wasn't happy about that. He felt signing the accords would also help their relationship

Just saw it too, my god. Best.comicbook.movie.ever. and the best spider-man movie ever. I need to see it again like now! blew me away

oh! Question!

When Winter solider and Black Widow are fighting, did Natasha say something like "you could at least recognise me?" Is that a hint to the two having history or just from the fight before in cap2 ?

I noticed one of the directors Joe Russo had a cameo playing the interrogator.

Just got back from seeing it.

I want more Black Panther. I need more.

Me too. Boseman was amazing in the role. I was nervous about his accent going in but he pulled of a natural sounding African accent and the relationship he had with T'Chaka was very well done. I can't wait for his solo movie.

I'm so pleased with him.

I hard nerd tears when he was being shot at by 50 cal from the helicopter. The bullets bounced off him and he didn't even flinch. I was literally crying with joy.
The claws, the suit, the accent, the fighting style etc it was so good. I can't wait for his movie and see how Wokanda is represented.

Just no on all accounts. You're accepting of vanilla writing in Scott's regard for this particular film. That's fine. We'll agree to disagree.

What was the second post credit scene?

Pete nursing his wounds from the airport fight while Aunt May checks up on him. She leaves, then Pete begins playing around with a wrist gadget that lights up the ceiling with a light that resembles the Spider-Man mask.

"Spider-Man will return" (what it says after that scene)

You hated that Sharon was given that Cap moment from the comics. And yet you don't mind, actually you love that Black Widow was given Sharon's role, Sharon's dynamics with Cap, and dialogue resembling Sharon's from the comics in TWS and in CW. Okay then :oldrazz:.

Oh please. :whatever: BW wasn't given anything that belonged to Sharon. You only wish that what BW had was given to Sharon.

That speech is iconic and was given to Peggy and just parroted by Sharon to give her some shine by association. I love Peggy but that's Cap's speech and in this movie he should have been the one giving it and it should have been a pivotal inspirational powerful moment.

That and Evans would have delivered it about a million times better.

I think it's a reference to his trying to have killed and shot her two times before - by the third time he should do her the courtesy of recognizing her. That's just basic manners. :woot:

Apparently it's Peter playing with his web shooters and a device Tony gave him (Spiderman signal?) goes off.

Thanks guys!

Not 100% sure but I feel that the mid credit scene seems to set up that some of the Avengers (at least Cap) are goimg to appear in the Black Panther standalone film. What do you guys think?

I was actually surprised to hear that Steve and Bucky are there (not even sure if it's been confirmed that the rest of the group takes refuge there) given on how I haven't heard about there being any scene involving Cap and BP making amends. I mean it's one thing if BP realizes that Bucky isn't the guy responsible for killing his father but another thing to harbor him and anyone else from the UN.

What is Cap's opinion of Wanda?
What is Iron Man's opinion of Wanda?
