She could just be setting the stage for 2016. Four years is a long time in that kind of job. She'll have done her duty, added to her legacy and stature while appearing as a team player. Let Obama win (or lose) in 2012. Either way she'll have two and a half years to quietly gather her army for one last try for the WH in the next presidential election cycle.

Clinton is said to be especially peeved with the president’s waffling over how to encourage the kinds of Arab uprisings that have recently toppled regimes in Egypt and Tunisia, and in particular his refusal to back a no-fly zone over Libya.

As much as I wouldn't want Madame Secretary to be President and wouldn't find much common ground with her at all, I do believe she would be a decisive and clear leader--not afraid to make the tough decisions that would most likely result in my banging my head against the wall, metaphorically speaking.

So, it's no surprise that this could be true, especially since Obama is almost the polar opposite "leader."

As far as Obama's 'indecisiveness', there has to be a middle ground between W Bush's 'Bomb! And ask questions later'...and Obama's over-thinking.

If you want to see over-thinking, read up on Jimmy Carter's handling of the Iran hostage situation. Or his "Man on the Mountain" soul searching that led to the "Malaise" Speech over two weeks later. Yikes.

It's hard to read about the Clinton-Obama relationship because the DNC is still divided so closely on that, it's hard to say if it is as strained as the article says. What is clear is that Hillary wanted the no-fly zone and Obama wanted as much international support as possible before he would do it. So, I can believe in the disconnect and frustration there.

However, HIllary has been signaling for the last 6-9 months that she would not return for a second term. So whether she is furious over the Libyan situation or not, she's already on her way out. She has to start organizing her base for 2016, after all....

I'm just saying.

I think she's done. She's currently 63, she'd almost be 70 by the time 2016 arrives and almost 20 years since the Clinton Era has long since gone.

Most people want to settle down at that age. She's been in public life for a long time, she's been through a lot, and I think that she has realized that the Clinton Political Dynasty ends with her and Bill since Chelsea has no desire to run for public office. I think she just wants some peace and a happy ending for her and her family. She deserves it IMO.

She'd be one year younger than Ronald Reagan when he was elected president in 1980 and six years younger than when John McCain ran in 2008.

I mean it's possible she really is done. But after watching the Clintons my whole life, I doubt that.

You'd think that after being in public service for over 30 years, almost 40 by the time Hillary would run, that it's time for a break, which is something that most people want, especially one that has been as bumpy as Hillary's.

Its not suprising that Hillary would leave in 2013. Although I think a lot of people are overlooking the driving force behind it: Susan Rice. From the second Obama elevated U.N. diplomat to cabinet level position, her job has been to be the second Secretary of State (the one Obama can trust). Her office has quietly consolidated a lot more power than is traditional for the U.N. diplomat. I think a big reason Hillary will leave is because of Rice waiting in the wings for the job and undermining Clinton as she does so.

That being said, I still wouldn't be terribly suprised if Hillary is Obama's next running mate (either her or Bayh will be. I'm convinced that Biden will not have a second term).

I think Biden will stay. He's a decoy. Similar to Quayle.

Biden doesn't say the right things to be a decoy. Cheney is the perfect example of a decoy in action. He pushes the administration's agenda with unchecked aggression but never stops towing the company line. Biden on the other hand, compares people to rapists and says racist things. That is when you go from being a decoy to being a distraction (like Sarah Palin was).

Well, I voted for Al Gore in 2000, he will not get my vote if he ever runs again...

She won't get nominated....but I don't trust Gore, as I did in 2000....AND, I'm not sure how he would have lead after 9/11...that of course we will never know, but as we went through that....I had to admit, I was glad he was not President at that time....I would not have wanted a "wishy washy" President at that time, and from what I've seen of Gore over the last few years....that would have been a possibility....SO NO, I will not vote for him if he runs.

I didn't vote for Kerry to simply vote "against" Bush, and won't do that as far as Gore is concerned....when I lose trust in someone....that's it.....I haven't lost trust in Obama yet, I actually think he is sincere in his choices, even though I don't necessarily agree with all of those choices.
