Was the blood clot caused by the fall? I don't think they have figured out exactly what caused the clot. It could be that the clot caused the fall, not the other way around. They said she had been feeling dizzy before the fall.

OK, just heard more about what is happening.

Not much is being given....some of the possibilities.

1. It is rare to get a blood clot from a blow to the head.
2. In 1998 it was found that she has a tendency to get blood clots in her right knee.
3. She travels a lot, and many can get blood clots in the lower extremities.
4. She had a stomach virus, and dehydration can also cause blood clots in the lower extremities.

So, from all of that, I think we can probably say that the blood clot is probably in one of her legs and was not necessarily caused by the fall and the concussion.

Finally the doctors have given an update...

The clot is, in fact, in her head....between her brain and right ear. It does not pose any major problems and with the medication to dissolve it she should make a full recovery.

Good to hear.... : )

I'm really glad to hear that she should make a full recovery.

I wonder what this will do to her 2016 considerations.

Probably nothing, unless it makes her rethink it....

She had clots before and simply started the medication to dissolve them. As long as she gets regular check ups, there really shouldn't be any problems.

I think her main problem this last time was the fact that she was not slowing down as far as the traveling when she needed to slow down....liiiiiiiike when you have a stomach virus.

Saw Hillary at a function in DC on Monday night. She looks good and ready to run.

Who do y'all think will be her running mate? Warren?

Soon I hope. Frankly, In sick and ****ing tired of this "show". Seems like this "Will she run?!" nonsense has been going on for the last 7 years. We all know she is running so just announce already!

Whether or not she gets my vote depends on who else is in the primary.

Won't the party put all its eggs in Hillary's basket? If not who are some possible other democrat candidates?

I could also see Howard Dean and Rahm Emanual throwing their respective hats into the ring.

If Biden does run, and he said he's considering it, who Obama decides to support will be interesting.

Uncle Biden as president is a scary ****ing thought.

I actually think people seriously underestimate Biden. He reminds me of LBJ. Probably in part because Obama reminds me so much of Kennedy (a political lightweight who got elected due to charisma).

The man may not have the best social skills, but he knows his stuff. Just look at his call on Iraq.

I'm guessing Biden won't run. Unless he's been super quiet about it I don't even think he's formed an exploratory committee. Warren is not going to run. I wouldn't be surprised if only 2 or 3 other people enter the race and it's more or less over after Iowa. That being said I also wouldn't be surprised if there are a few people waiting to jump in if the Clinton campaign self destructs before Iowa.

One of the Castro brothers or Warren would be my guess. I think Warren is a long shot though. She seems pretty adamant about staying in the Senate.

No doubt Biden knows his stuff, but good lord who in their right mind would be his press secretary?

He will not be able to spend the time in the caucus states, whereas Hillary will be spending the biggest amount of time in those states starting Monday.

He won't be able to walk away from his job and spend time in those states like Obama did in 2008.

Anyone see that Hillary "Getting Started" video on Youtube? It's like they fit every stereotypical Democratic demographic in there. An engaged gay couple, a man speaking Spanish, an Asian grad student, a biracial couple, a lesbian couple...

I demand the Republican equivalent! Make it happen, Ted Cruz.
