Was the blood clot caused by the fall? I don't think they have figured out exactly what caused the clot. It could be that the clot caused the fall, not the other way around. They said she had been feeling dizzy before the fall.
OK, just heard more about what is happening.
Not much is being given....some of the possibilities.
1. It is rare to get a blood clot from a blow to the head.
2. In 1998 it was found that she has a tendency to get blood clots in her right knee.
3. She travels a lot, and many can get blood clots in the lower extremities.
4. She had a stomach virus, and dehydration can also cause blood clots in the lower extremities.
So, from all of that, I think we can probably say that the blood clot is probably in one of her legs and was not necessarily caused by the fall and the concussion.
