Kinda surprised that it's holding such a high score with this many reviews in as I sort of expected it to be at around the same score as IW.

It's like BP critical run all over again which I honestly didn't think could be duplicated again for a live action superhero movie but yet.. Here we are! Go Endgame! Keep knocking them down!

Obviously I still need to EG, but I want to see more directors have a 2, 3, 4 movie outings like the Russos.

And from Civil War to Infinity War, they wonderfully handled two number 3 entries.

Yeah many would have buckled under sheer scale of the production logistics and duration. It would have been all too easy to create an incoherent mess with so many plates to juggle across also other individual films. The only comparable I can think of is Lord of the Rings trilogy when P Jackson filmed 3 movies at the same time but I think this one was somewhat even more challenging.

MCU changed Hollywood. I don't think other studios hell even pundits and fans etc... thought they'd pull off that first avengers film. Then for better or worse everyone started scrambling to make universes of their own without paying attention to why it worked.

I still chuckle at that image with all the actors for that monster verse lol
