Russos got an incredible track record but damn! These are really high marks especially for type of undertaking it is... So much for the worry about the Campea tweet. lol. I held firm all along that he was really only one dude with one opinion, which I respect BTW, in a sea of early adulation.

As with anyone, I don't take anyone's opinion to heart. At the end of the day, I only care what I think. So when I see an opinion I don't like potentially, like Campea's in this case, it doesn't bother me. I don't know why Campea voicing his opinion offends so many. Dude is allowed to have his opinion, even if you disagree.

I have a general disdain for film scoop bloggers. They're often wrong, he in particular is wildly, which bears a salty attitude when it comes time to objectively write about a final product.

Just youtube entertainment mostly. As you'll see in his comments section, there'll be many that may agree or disagree with him. To his credit, he makes it known that his opinions are not 'law' and encourages his viewers to formulate their own. I enjoy watching his vids much actually. Why not? Their harmless.

I don't mind Campea. He usually prefaces his opinion by saying that he it's just his opinion and he could be right or wrong. Plus I loved a few years ago when he took Grace Randolph to task. I never heard anything about his Gadot problem so I can't comment on that

He’s okay—likes to hear himself talk and has a big head about things--- and gives himself way too much praise. He loves to remind people how he predicted things when he happens to be right, and when he’s wrong he’ll admit to it, but still kind of brush it of and move past it quick.

All i know is that we're living in a golden age for the genre. Yeah we'll still get a stinker once in a while but what really matters is that what has been great has been truly out of this world, whether it's the MCU, WB, Fox, or even now Sony with Into the Spiderverse. I didn't even see Endgame being close to the 90s. This is awesome.

I thought end game would be around IW maybe slightly higher like a 88 or something. Yeah isn't that true. If you go back like 5-6 years ago I think there was 7 live CBM to ever get above a 90 on RT now I think there is like 18 or something and I would say it is harder to get above a 90 now days has expectations are higher and more reviews come out now meaning you got more people you have to impress then before. Like just 5 years or so ago big movies would get like 350 reviews now big movies are getting like 450-500 reviews. Heck if you go back when spiderman 1 came out in 2002 before CBM had really taken off it only got 241 reviews. With this moving being at 97% after 151 reviews there is no way it is going to end up lower than 90 now.

I think the Gal Gadot issue was that John Campea went all in with the idea that Jamie Alexander could be Wonder Woman. And I think he was never that accepting of Gadot's performance.

I like Campea more than the Collider people. but they both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Campea was against the idea of Gadot from the moment she was cast. And never relinquished it. He still only gives her feint praise.

I agree with him up to a certain point. I agree that Gadot is'nt a great actress.

I disagree with him in that I thought she was pretty damn good in the role despite that.

He gives all the credit to Patty Jenkins but I think Gadot is putting in the work and improving too.

But ALAS!!!!

I only click on his vids cuz they're in my suggestions really. Can't say I've ever search for it or anything. If he stopped posting vids and nothing ever popped up, I probably wouldn't notice one bit and forget about him already. Lol. What I like is the man does have personality and does create an inviting non-toxic culture, which is more than u can say about certain youtube channels.
