What time is the tomato meter supposed to begin today?

Consona's opinion on the MCU is consistent. He's mostly a DC/JL forums poster, and he's echoed those statements in the DC forum before. So it is not like he is coming in here and saying things he doesn't believe just to get a rise out of people. That would be trolling. But, he's just stating an unpopular opinion. I get that we're emotionally attached to these properties and the 22 films this movie is culminating, but let's not be like those fans that sent death threats to people for posting negative TDKR reviews and stuff like that. Having a minority opinion doesn't make one a troll.

whatevs, agree to disagree, not gunna give anyone any fuel

I'm dodging all reviews for this one. I'll see initial percentage then dip.

What's most interesting to me is the people talking about how this is not IW pt 2. This is a totally separate movie and very different from IW in tone and structure, but obviously is a continuation of events. The Russos were talking about this last night on how movies doing the pt.1 pt.2 always seemed like you were getting half of a movie, and they wanted to make two complete movies.

So IW is a totally complete movie where the resolution of the film is Thanos resting smiling on the sunrise of a greatful universe. Without having seen Endgame yet, that makes me appreciate IW even more.

If it truly is a separate opus, then I will never be able to re-evaluate Infinity War, and it will rest forever at the bottom of my list... but it improves the odds that AEG will settle at the top...come on, Friday! I neeeeeeeeed you.

So Thanos has his clear win, which means that with an Avengers victory in Endgame...

I think this might have more crowd pleasing and fan moments but i feel it won't be as well structured a movie as IW.

TOMATOMETER - Infinity War
85%

Average Rating: 7.6/10
Reviews Count: 427
Fresh: 363
Rotten: 64

I think it will have a slightly higher RT score regardless though. A couple sentimental points lol

Anything above 80% is an absolute win for this movie with this many characters and story arcs crossed into one grand finale.

Ok, a critic here in Greece just posted his Endgame review. He hated it but no worries, our movie critics consider worthy only political/social dramas from countries like China, Afghanistan, and Poland.

What was actually interesting is that he says
there are no mid or post-credits scenes.
That's surprising and I don't know what to make out of it. Any thoughts why Feige and co. did that?

Campea said that regardless of the pros and cons of he had with the first 2 acts, the last act will probably be the greatest hour in any movie this year. Says it might be the greatest hour of any CBM.
