This is funny but shows how even non-fans can enjoy this movie for what it is.

I like this bit the best.

Welcome to our world. So this setup has us identifying with the heroes and rooting for their redemption.

Just as Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko wanted for us readers.

Yeap. All things considered the writers did a decent job of bringing you into the plot even if you didn’t know all the characters. You obviously enjoyed it more if you understood the references but you connected to the characters regardless. That’s why the first two hours were better paced with development.

The notion that CM is "bossy" and "annoying" because she exudes just as much confidence as every other male hero is exhausting.

I can see where she is coming from if you have no idea who these characters are. Everyone else was trying to work together and she comes in as the obvious new person and tells them what to do. That's who the character is though.

And unfortunately there are a lot of comments like that. But in a way it's good because this is like waving the "I am sexist" flag so it makes it easier to spot them lol
