The CW developing "The Tomorrow People" remake

Wow. No way are they even close. Again, when you can see they're missing hitting each other by about 6 inches, and the way they're filmed does nothing to hide it, they need to work on that. I could see it clearly in the pilot and the ep where they were ambushed at the shipyard where Cara was captured.

Maybe we are not talking about the same thing, I'm talking about the TP fights.

I may give it a try again later on.

I was hoping they wouldn't go that direction. But this is the CW network we're talking about. What's a CW show without a love triangle ... Supernatural. :awesome:

Supernatural has the bromance instead between Sam & Cass & with the lying & what not & its still awesome

I spotted the love triangle coming from the get go.

Great development for Russell. I thought Ultra might of killed his dad and made it look like a heart attack at first in order to trap Russell when he goes to his fathers funeral.

Am I the only one who feels like Stephen is the least interesting part of this show? Because he is, which is unfortunate considering he's the main character. More John and Russell on all fronts. The two of them are far more compelling and entertaining.

I do think Stephen is a bit bland but it doesn't seem to bother me that much. Stephen is the typical heroic naive idealist which does work kind of well playing off of the likes of tough yet thoughtful Kara, John's pragmatist leader and Russell's live wire fun loving personality.

I think the chemistry of them combined is good.

Agree, even though i like his cousin a lot, I feel like Stephen is kinda blank but with that said, give me more Russell!

I finally catching up with the episodes I missed and...meh. It's an okay show. Nothing too exciting about it, but it's not all that bad.

I want to like this show but it is such a cliched young adult pretty people show.

I really hate that they keep referring to the people with powers as a new species. They are still human.

Overall, the show is interesting.

As if Stephen (Robbie Amell) and Cara (Peyton List) didn't have enough to contend with, there's a new baddie coming to town. Gangster Squad's James Landry Hebert is joining The Tomorrow People as The Wraith, a mysterious hitman who teleports past security and reads his victims minds, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

In addition to posing a threat, The Wraith's superhuman abilities and his murderous profession will also raise the question of whether the Tomorrow People are naturally evolving into killers or if The Wraith is simply another one of Jedikiah's (Mark Pelligrino) experiments gone rogue.

Either way, Stephen and Cara's pursuit of The Wraith leads them to stumble upon an even more surprising secret.

Any guesses about what Stephen and Cara will learn?

The Tomorrow People airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW.

That's where I'm at. I'm gonna drop it soon if it doesn't do more for me.

I am going to be really surprised if it gets a 2nd season. Depending on what pilots CW gets, this will probably be a goner since it isnt retaining much of Arrows ratings.

The sad thing is I like all the actors on the show. Amell is very likable. I'll stick with the show, but I can't see this lasting too much longer.

I hope they keep Amell and find a new show for him. I like the guy, but I'm with you. I can't see this lasting into a second season. I think the problem is this feels and acts like a teen show, but it tries to have big themes and stakes. I'm still surprised this is on after Arrow. It really should be on before it.

I'm not sure if it's Robbie's fault or the writers, but the character comes off as very wooden and bland. Now that I think about it, it's gotta be Robbie's fault. John, Russell and even Cara are more entertaining and compelling.

There just isn't enough to get me invested in Stephen. He's the Tomorrow People's messiah, OK, is that it? I need more than that to give a damn about a main character. Also, I really can't suspended my disbelief enough to buy Ultra not being aware Stephen's a double agent.

Yeah, I suppose you're right, but Amell's not that bad. They just have him doing the exact same things every episode that he doesn't really get a chance to stand out. I think I also like the way Pellegrino plays off him. It's just comical to watch them together, so I don't have too many objections to Amell. My real problem is I'm having a hard time believing this kid is doing all this and going to high school, and the writers seem to realize this and occasionally throw in a high school episode. Then next week it's back to saving the world... Feels too weird for my taste.

It needs a strong lead in. Arrow is that. But because this show hasn't held on to much of Arrow's audience. It's getting bounced to Mondays in March and The 100 will be given a shot at the Wednesday night time slot.

This. All of it. Except for Cara. Not really a fan of the character. Russell is great though because he's the only one with a personality.

I understand all that, but I wish it was on before it. It's just a personal preference. I preferred the previous block of Arrow and Supernatural.

I liked the twist in the latest episode. The show has been steadily improving

too bad the ratings aren't... there's been a slow and gradual decline in the viewership... they say it's a toss-up as to whether it'll get renewed or canceled... I like this show, but what usually happens with some shows that I get into in this kind of situation is that this show will no doubt wind up a casualty... :cmad:

Nice twist at the end but they gave it away early on in the episode when John called the founder's daughter a synergistics, a person born to two 3T parents. Right there you knew why Stephen and that chick had a deeper connection and knew his mother would eventually be revealed to be a 3T.

One thing that bothers me is that if she has known all this time. Why did she play her son like that? Make him think he had mental issues and needed to be medicated for it? Could have talked to and help him understand wtf was happening.

If John knows the existence of synergistics then Jed and Ultra does too. Gotta wonder why no one at Ultra thought of that as a possibility as to why Stephen was so powerful. Either Jed has been helping the mother by keeping everyone at Ultra from asking that question or the writers are just writing this on the go. :o

Oh, they need to hold another election and remove Cara as leader. Getting real sick of her ass. lol if John moves in with Stephen and his family.
