The CW developing "The Tomorrow People" remake

Loved the twist at the end of the latest episode! I thought the mom might have some gifts. This gets me excited for the upcoming episodes.

You know what I don't get? Why they feel the need to act special effects to their TK. I thin it would look better if they got rid of that stream of mist when they use it.
I agree. The wave effect looks pretty corny. They could spend that money elsewhere.

My guess is if the Tomorrow People can keep a decent amount of it's audience when it moves to Monday it will be renewed but that is a huge if(I am guessing sub 1M viewers when it gets the Monday Night Death slot).
I think they may do well on Monday night. This doesn't conflict with anything I watch and it flows nicely from the SyFy block of Bitten, Being Human and Lost Girl.

One thing that bothers me is that if she has known all this time. Why did she play her son like that? Make him think he had mental issues and needed to be medicated for it? Could have talked to and help him understand wtf was happening.
That struck me as odd as well. We'll find out next week, but she could have been trying to suppress his powers with the medication to keep him away from Ultra. I am glad that the best villain ever from 24 actually has something to do. I think having the mom more involved with the show could be a big asset. I'd like to see it hang around for another season.

If John knows the existence of synergistics then Jed and Ultra does too. Gotta wonder why no one at Ultra thought of that as a possibility as to why Stephen was so powerful. Either Jed has been helping the mother by keeping everyone at Ultra from asking that question or the writers are just writing this on the go. :o Oh, they need to hold another election and remove Cara as leader. Getting real sick of her ass. lol if John moves in with Stephen and his family.
Yeah the part about the synergistics seems like an add on. And Cara on a power trip is no surprise, but I enjoy that better than the love triangle. That got old very quickly.

Well it's up head to head with Being Human and I am guessing The Following on FOX might also have similar type audiences. Were TTP might do better then Beauty and the Beast is I don't think it has as many female viewers who might enjoy Dancing wit the Stars or The Voice

Hmm...not for me. My SyFyHD channel shows them 3 hours earlier. 5pm - Bitten, 6pm Being Human, 7pm Lost Girl. :woot:

You are probably right about some of those other shows. I hope it's able to keep the viewers it has. I would like to see it come back for a second season. It's not bad and it has a lot of potential to get better.

So when the family went camping, it was the mother who saved the camera, right?

Also I really want them to work Astrid into the story more. I like that they have her more involved, but I am hoping we'll actually see something develop between her and Steven.

With Reign being renewed this is starting to look to be the show that gets Cancelled :(

They are waiting to see how The 100 and Star-Crossed perform. TTP isn't dead. They haven't announced new seasons for Beauty and the Beast or Carrie Diaries either.

I hope it makes it. I'm not interested in Star-Crossed. Not even my type of show. I did think of watching The 100, but I'm only going to DVR the first 2 episodes like I did with Reign.

I really hope it is renewed. Star Cross doesn't really interest me at all it looks like a Ripoff of Twilight involving Aliens and the 100 looks interesting but I just don't know yet.

That's how I feel. I'm going to give The 100 a shot, but if it doesn't interest me then I'm not going to waste anytime with it. I think TTP has a lot of potential. I'd like to see it stick around.

When I heard TTP is moving to Mondays, I think the point is to see how it can perform on it's own. All that being said yeah it looks like with Reign renewed, only one slot is left between TTP, Star Crossed or the 100.

I guess their always is the chance of the CW doing 13 episodes seasons for a few shows

This latest episode was really good... I like that we are finally digging a bit deeper into Jedikiah. They obviously have a brother theme going so it was good to have an episode devoted to that.

I hope the series makes it.

The guy playing the twins was pretty good.

Cara is still a *****.

I'm liking this idea of John moving in with Stephen's family. There should be some fun scenes coming from that living arrangement.

Just when I was starting to buy into Jedikiah's compassion. He just wants to be the special one.

Which is also (I'm guessing) why he wants Stephen around. Next to his brother, Stephen's the closest to Jedikiah genetically.

Cara is a terrible leader.

I only just noticed that the ultra agent rival of Stephen is the girl from the Spy kids movies

OMG....I could not remember where I had seen her from before. Her face was familiar, but I don't remember seeing her in anything as an adult. Good catch, Chambers!

I was glad to see they had Steven's father on ice. That really does give some credence to him "coming back". I had been thinking Jedikiah might be on the side of the TP, but he just wants to find a way to take their powers because he didn't feel special. I wonder if they will tie this into Steven's little brother. He has stayed largely removed from all the stories, but I'd like to see him more involved at some point.

Still no word on a renewal though?

The show deserves to be renewed, it keeps getting better, the main characters have great chemistry, and Mark Pellegrino is just awesome as usual. But if it doesn't happen, lets hope the CW gives them proper notice to give it some kind of closure.

Is it weird that they haven't announced anything yet? Have they renewed any other shows?

I just watched Star-Crossed. A friend of my had DVR'd it, and I think it would work well with the show. I also think it could replace this show. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Supernatural all got renewed

Hmm...I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I just realized that Star-Crossed IS on Mondays. That's a good sign to me because the two shows fit...even though they are very similar. I plan on watching them both. I was intrigued by the Pilot of Star-Crossed, but that could be because I'm a sucker for Romeo/Juliet stories.

When exactly is TTP moving to Mondays?

TTP is sort of on the bubble if it will be renewed or not(and honestly more likely not to be renewed). My guess is they want to see if the show can perform on another night without the lead in first before they make their decision(basically is the shows ratings more a case of people watching what is after Arrow or can it hold it's own audience on another night).

I think it's a combo of budget and not so great ratings given the lead in is what is hurting the chances of renewal

March 17

Well the pace certainly picked up with Stephen
finding his father, Uncle Jed trying to choke his baby mama to death and next week they are plotting to kill the founder
