This is not how opposites work.
Neither is thisLight, Dark
Fun, Serious
Good, Bad
Super, Not
I personally think since we know it breathes fire onto Supes, the kaiju is what causes his burnt-but-otherwise-intact appearance later in the film, so I'm guessing this is from something else. And since this is the beginning of the film, we may not even see what it was. Perhaps just hear about it. I do agree the "he's back" is probably him returning after this scene, though. Might be Lex's intro in the movie. So given that Gunn has said most of the trailer & now this sneak peak footage is at the start of the film, do we think it's the Kaiju that causes his injuries?
And the clip of Lex in his tower turning with that look on his face & saying "he's back" - is that likely to be after he's been healed in the fortress?
Same. 1st trailer was all about grandeur, hope and tone, have the 2nd be about character relationships and romance, with a good taste of what Clark's characterization will be like, and I'm all set. Might even skip the "exclusive clips".One more trailer for me to see some more Lois & Clark & some more Lex & I'm good - I can go into the film happy.

I'm guessing the man in black does this.I personally think since we know it breathes fire onto Supes, the kaiju is what causes his burnt-but-otherwise-intact appearance later in the film, so I'm guessing this is from something else. Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned it here, but when Supes and Krypto enter the Fortress, there’s a voice speaking (presumably) Kryptonian in the background that sounds an awful lot likeBradley Cooper
Yeah I'd guess this will be part of the opener, maybe leading into credits. Timeline wise, I feel like things said in interviews make me think its in medias res, but then we go back a bit to how we got there.I'm guessing the man in black does this.
It could however be caused by some kind of threat we've yet to see though.
Alright I just got my tickets for Sinners. I still don’t understand why Marvel didn’t ask Coogler to direct Blade. I believe Sinners is WB’s counter to Disney’s Blade but I digress. The reason I brought Sinners up the price of movie tickets is out of control. $27 for an adult ticket is ridiculous. People will continue wait and stream average to bad movies at home. I just saw Nicholas Holt’s vampire movie at home the other day and quite enjoyed it.I think it definitely has a chance at being a hit for absolute sure. The freshness is off the charts, and even the films most ruthless haters won't be able to help themselves from taking that double look on what exactly this film will achieve. Mix that in with Gunn's good fortunes with critics (who rejected Snyder's vision overall, especially during the height of its most importance) and there you will have good energy and vibes heading into July (where spirits are high with summer in full throttle for the kids). Then you will have families interested with a hooked demographic the studio is targeting and before you know it, this thing can have the ever-so important legs.
But a lot needs to happen and go right, obviously. But the signs are there to have that healthy shot at landing on all four wheels..or paws.
Does Brainiac count? As long as we don't get any Kryptonian villains, I'm good. I've had enough of them to last me forever.
Immediately picked up on that. I’m guessing it’s sort of meant to symbolize that Superman is the foundation which the rest of the DCU will be built upon, or like sort of an invitation saying to us, “Hey, the door’s open! Come on in and explore this new universe with us. This is just the start and there’s more yet to come.”Have you noticed that part of the score when the Fortress appears is also the DC Studios theme?
Does Brainiac count?
Not that I'm saying he's in this, just in general
Bum Rap.These people killed the rom com!![]()
But, don’t you know, Elmo said that empathy is a weakness that must be purged, and bullying, lying, discriminating, stealing from and spewing hatred towards the undeserving and oppressed is what real God-fearing Americans do.I swear, there are a box of superlatives that people seem to have ready in the chamber for anything Superman, and 'corny' is one of them.
I don't really see anything 'corny' about this sneak peek. It's got humor and heart.
Feels like sincerity and earnestness is seen as 'corny' to a lot of people, these days.
One of my favorite parts!Didn’t notice the entire Fortress rotating until someone pointed it out.
