He’s 6’3” or 6’2.5” depending on where you look. Either way, only about an inch shorter than David, which means perspective and shoe height can easily change who appears taller.

Of course fans were going to see this and assume trailer on Superman Day. He must know that.

Nothing about that says its coming on the 18th though lol but its also his job to make you anticipate things so vagueness should be expected. Fans assuming things does not lie at his feet.

The film will have a trailer though, obviously. Possibly two. It'll likely be Memorial Day weekend so it can play with Thunderbolts, M:I 8 and Lilo & Stitch. Its the exact same schedule as Barbie; Dec-April-May for a July release.

I never said it did. I just said it made sense based on this, combined with all the hype around Superman Day as a big event (and even using the same font as the teaser to promote it). These things led to people (like myself and a lot of people in this thread) assuming it was coming. It seemed logical.


It's not like I'm waving pitchforks at him It's just a bit annoying.

If he'd never made that post, and if the Superman Day celebration announcements hadn't come in this way that seemed linked due to font and proximity to comment, I would not have assumed we were getting a trailer until May.

I dunno, it just bugs me when people take an 'anyone who says anything negative about this is greedy/was stupid for thinking otherwise' stance.

It was a fair assumption given the evidence. It makes sense that people might feel sad.

What is the next big WB movie that caters to the general audience. That probably is going to be when the Superman trailer will be released. I think Minecraft might have changed the trailer release strategy.

Changed it based on what though? They released the extended scene with Minecraft, before its ridiculous success. Sinners was always coming on the 18th so i don't think they were ever intending on stepping on that, Superman Day or not.

Releasing that then another 2min trailer two weeks later would definitely and immediately reverse all the bad takes about no marketing into even worse takes about overmarketing lol
