That's pretty much become my M.O. since Covid tbh.I think Monday after opening weekend might be the best time to go to movie theaters. I am at an AMC about to watch Fantastic 4 and I am all by myself in a IMAX theater. I saw Superman each week since it has been out and each theater was more than halfway filled. I purposely go when the crowd is the smallest for a more enjoyable experience.
A friend of mine who enjoyed both Snyder's and Gunn's takes on Superman recently asked me on which film did a better job of showcasing Superman inspiring hope in others.
In the DCEU (MOS, BVS, ZSJL), Superman's death is used to inspire Batman and Wonder into forming the Justice League. Or that's at least what I'm assuming that Snyder was trying to go for.
In this film, Superman's actions eventually lead to theJustice Gang taking action and stopping the Boravian government from committing genocide against another country.
Care to share your thoughts?
I just wanted it noted that the theater next to my hotel in Dublin has two screens for Superman but only one for that other film
(Also have one for Goonies!)
You gotta love and appreciate Richard Donner's filmography: the man went from The Omen to Superman, The Goonies, Ladyhawke, the Lethal Weapon franchise, even shepherded the first X-Men movie alongside his wife and producer Lauren Shuler Donnner: come on!i rewatched the Goonies a few months ago with my son!
maybe it's my nostalgia talking since its probably the firs film i ever saw in theaters, but it's still a great and fun family film!

I get he's disappointed, but dude you're throwing away money on that merch. Why not re-sell it to people who actually enjoyed the movie.
