LOL at Vrich's quotes.

Classic!

WOOO!!! I'm not alone

The only thing that's stopped me from already buying a Blu-ray player is the price. Still too expensive for me, I don't want to drop $400-$500 on a player right now.

Your best bet is to buy a PS3...supposedly PS3 is the best Blu-ray player around anyway...and for the price...you are also getting a game console and the internet.

when you have to update your blu-ray, you just connect online and do it directly on your ps3

Ahh, now we're talking.

:hoboj:
LOL nice

i just reserved my copy of The Dark Knight 2 disc DVD at Blockbuster for $5, which i'll be able to pick up Dec 9. they also had these awesome life-size cardboard cut outs of batman, ironman, of the joker :] of course, i snagged that one up. im keeping mine in its package until i move, but heres a pic of someone else's i found online:

Lol...ya it's like the jump from VHS to DVD...

I really didn't think there was any difference at first.
I never hated it and/or opposed it, I just thought it was some gimmick.
Until I saw blu-ray for the first time...
And yes, it is better than DVD, it is not a gimmick. It is a BILLION times better, anyone who has blu-ray can/should agree because it is true.

The prologue on blu-ray is rediciulous, I can't even imagine the rest of the movie.

It really is amazing.

I know what being cheap is all about, and I also know what it's like to be stubborn lol, because clearly those are the 2 reasons there is no conversion to blu-ray.

But being a natural movie goer, blu-ray is definitely the way to go.

:)

Blu Ray is leaps and bounds above anything DVD has offered. I bought the PS3 solely for the Blu Ray and as you said, seeing that prologue in HD had me thirsty for more. TDK, in full, is really going to look phenomenal. Im really looking forward to Tuseday when, another hero makes his way onto DVD. That should be awesome. I would recommend a PS3 as well for the reasons stated before, game platform, internet, blu ray, decent price.

And Virch currently is my thread role model. The timing for everything he's said is spot on.

The PS3 is just a mad dog. I want whoever let it off the leash.

Rushed to Blockbuster once I saw the post about the cardboard cutouts, but there was nothing :[

Atleast I got an opportunity to try out my Batvoice to the Blockbuster employees.

"WHERE ARE THEY?!?!?:brucebat:

"Oh don't worry, I'm gonna tell you where they are. Both of 'em, and that's the point... you'll have to choose.":hoboj:

It got to mine between wednesday and friday, so it must be brand spankin new. They also had this WSS poster that sticks to any surface or something like that. I guess it's supposed to be like those Fat Head things or something.

i work at blockbuster. i got my joker cut out the moment we got them in the door.

**** it, I'm drunk, I'm thinking of going as 'hockey pads Batman' for Halloween.

I'm concerned not enough people would get the joke (of being Bri-Dog Batman).

Let me guess. Then you'll take one of them up to the rooftop of the Blockbuster building, and when they ask which cardboard cutout you want, you're gonna respond in a very Bale like voice saying............

"I want The Joker!"

To which they'll respond............

"From one professional to another, if you're trying to scare someone, pick a better voice, and by the way from this height, the fall wouldn't kill me."

What you do after that is all you brother..... ;)

Just make sure that when you do, that you approach some random 4 to 9 year old trick-or-treater dressed as Batman, saying.........

"I'm trying to help you!"

Then, while his mother grabs her child running from you in absolute terror, you are going to yell out........

"What gives you the right? What's the difference between you and me?"
