Huh? Advertisng her without showing her? Her sex appeal is all visual.

Oh, I'm not saying they wouldn't show her the entire time. They didn't do that with the Joker either. But until about December, they relied mostly only his catchphrase and things like the bloody "Ha Ha Ha" and all that. The could do the same thing with Catwoman. Come up with a clever catch phrase that relates to her, or show only very vague, but suggestive silhouettes of her, until we (most likely) get a full view of her around December with the full trailer, and then go into overdrive with the advertising and showing her full form.

Or they could do it sooner. I'd personally rather see it sooner then later, but sometimes the wait can be fun. The build up get's people interested. I think that's one of the reasons the first full TDK trailer got such a big reaction when it finally came out. For most of the general public, it was the first full view of the Joker they got.

...Which brings me back to something, did that guy leak the pics of the unfinished promo shots here on the hype before or after the trailer? I can't remember.

I've long envisioned Catwoman's introduction to the film being her showing up to toy with Batman whilst he's staking someone out, almost as if they've met numerous times over the course of the period between TDK and Rises.

I hope to see their first encounter, Catwoman might have been watching Batman for a while but Batman pops up and confronts her like "Who the hell are you?" etc.. I want to see their relationship evolve on-screen, I dont want it to already be at the stage we're all familiar with.

Joseph Gordon Levitt uploaded a new video to his website. It shows off what his hair will probably look like in The Dark Knight Rises. JGL has a great website, where people upload and collaborate on creating works of art. Videos, stories, etc... JGL is very involved with it. He will talk and work with normal everyday people. It's really cool how down to earth he is. He will talk to you like you are his friend. He's a great guy! I suggest you check out his site hitrecord.org

It's awesome.

Sorry that sort of turned into a plug for his site. lol

Wow. Heath and JGL were not only cut from the same cloth physically, but they also give interviews/commentaries very similarly as well.
JGL takes the cake in the hipster category though.

I think she'll be teased in the first trailer.

If that was the only dialogue we got from her it would be more than enough :)

The logo will more than tide me over until ComicCon. Which is where we'll get our first look at Catwoman, I'm guessing.
A sort of "Cat"-burglar spree type viral through San Diego :)

My guess is that WB would hold off on the Catwoman stuff until the very end of the year/beginning of next year. Jett seems to suggest it should be released sooner though:

Such a charmer...

...and here we go again.

LMAO!
These people are examples of Bat-wagon fans! They only come on these boards when a viral or official news is announced and then they repeat info that's been proposed more than a year ago!

Hey, don't be too harsh. I joined the Hype just to find out more about Batman Begins, and I ended up staying. But I definitely started as a bandwagoner. Heck, when I first joined, I still didn't know that the Joker wasn't the guy who killed Bruce's parents.

But the upside is the Hype lead me to buying TKJ, The Long Halloween, TDKR, The Man Who Laughs, Dark Victory, and tons of other Bat-classics. And I haven't looked back since.

Has this been posted? Anne Hathawaysupposedly gave a stuntman a black eye on TDKR set

No updates on Catwoman but there's a very strong possibility of seeing Batman's new ride at next week's Licensing Expo (June 14).

How heinous.

Imagine if we didn't get anything at the Expo. Not a thing.

Do you know how crushed we'd all feel?

It would be harrowing.

I will worry about the sanity of the Bat fans (myself included) all across the world if that happens. :csad:

I was wondering if I should email the Licensing Expo ahead of time... but what could I ask, and what could they say? Maybe just have them confirm that WB does indeed plan to bring something from TDKR?

Ask them for a general line up of what or who might be there. Don't mention anything at all about Batman. Make sure your email has nothing about Batman in it, from address to subject line to body.

That's actually a good idea. Not sure what to suggest asking though. Didn't they have a map of the expo? Maybe ask for a more detailed one - like where specifically will be the TDKR section? Maybe we can get more info from that?

I'm afraid if I do that, they'll just direct me to their website with the list of exhibitors.

I almost feel like just asking if they knew what WB plans to show for TDKR. The worst thing that could happen is they won't respond and we just wait 6 more days to find out.

I say go for broke then. Maybe you'll get a person who doesn't give a crap and will tell you everything they know about what TDKR might have there.

Or you might get a person who knows nothing about what you're talking about.

It's a crapshoot.
