Oh yes, the first couple of TDK spots are so good. Mostly because the second May trailer was so underwhelming to me. The new footage of Joker in jail cell, throwing Rachel off the penthouse, the tumbler crashing onto the garbage truck kicked my ass.

I don't doubt LatinoReview-Kel, but I've been watching this entire game and haven't seen a TDKR spot. I even went back on the DVR and checked around the the time he tweeted. Nothing...

I watched the boston game and the laker game. There was no commercial for either game. During half time for the boston game they had a segment "brought to you by the dark knight rises" and showed the logo

During half time for the boston game they had a segment "brought to you by the dark knight rises" and showed the logo

They just did the same thing at the half for the Spurs/Clippers game, of which the third quarter just started. I've never seen a "brought to you by" promo like that where they didn't show a TV spot for said product either just before or after. This is somewhat far-fetched, but maybe they're building/prepping for a spot to debut in prime time tonight or even tomorrow afternoon?

Actually, I'm noticing that the "brought to you by The Dark Knight Rises" / logo promo is only appearing at half time of ESPN/ABC (owned by the same partent company) game broadcasts - as opposed to TNT - which makes sense. That being said, The next ESPN/ABC game is tomorrow at 3:30 ET (Miami/Indiana on ABC). Again, it's a stretch, but maybe a TV spot will premiere then, a la Sony premiering the first Total Recall trailer a few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon during an ABC NBA broadcast.

both games were on espn last night. i was expecting a commercial because of the brought to you by ish lol. i dont know if they are holding out for a certain amount of ratings in which a game 7 might come into play or the actual finals etc. either way its marketing! and its kool to see the logo on tv

Things I liked about the spot:
-Even though Bruce looks not so great at times, at least there's some light humor from the supporting cast. I'm still not expecting much in the film though.
-It showed off Batman with the Batpod as well as the Bat
-It focused mostly on Bruce/Batman and supporting characters talking about him
-The Batcave
-Showed some of the carnage facing the city and Bane as its threat
-New footage
