Ok, I realize that first set picture is blurry, but the shirt doesn't look the same as the one in the bank robbery picture, there's none of the same pattern, or at least it looks that way. How do we know that the Joker isn't the one in purple in the back of the bank robbery one, setting the sides, well, aside? Did they say so when the picture was released?
It got pixelated when I saved the file, I'm not to sure, because it could also be the guy pointing the gun. Anyone know if it was confirmed that Joker was the guy the photo was being taken of, or the one pointing the gun?
Yep, I think so.Well, I've seen the picture before, and even then I've never seen the lines on the shirt. I don't think it's because of blur, either, because other details are blurry, but there. And the way the light hit's his shoulders in the spy pic is more closely matched by the rear guy in the I-Max pic, rather than the grumpy clown. Do we know that the Joker is "Grumpy" in the sides?
After all this debate about the Joker applying makeup, and the Joker's skin actually being bleached, I think I can safely say the the Joker goes through some stages throughout the film according to the pictures. I made this observation sheet just so you guys could see what I'm trying to say here. Hope this thread isn't considered useless, hope you guys could agree what I'm trying to say.

We know that it is indeed Heath in the "Grumpy" mask/outfit:Well, I've seen the picture before, and even then I've never seen the lines on the shirt. I see in the mask pic, hair doesn't appear green at all. In the rachel pic, his hair is green but has brown roots and ends, but in the spy pic, his hair looks completely green.

And it looks like the same shirt in the original pictake image. Just, since it's taken from very far away (like on the tenth floor of a building, just zoomed in a bunch) it's harder to see the detail like design.
But, see, the thing is, he does seem to mix it up. Several times in a single scene.some of you are confused about all the different looks of the joker....well back to the realistic style of Nolan, maybe that's intentional.
maybe the joker doesn't feel like applying the same makeup, or in the same fashion every time. maybe he likes to mix it up a la dennis rodman. just a thought.
he's already the joker under the clown mask, they just didn't bother with makeup since the relevant areas are covered up

he has the black eye makeup in that fuzzy imax photo that seems to be part of the same scene, so who knowsI can only assume he is suppose to be wearing flesh colored makeup in that scene, because even though it covers the relevant areas, it's still a very crappy job if his face is suppose to be white under there.
If you're watching in IMAX or even normal theaters you'll certainly be able to tell he's not bleached white under that mask. Hell, all we've gotten was one picture and we can tell that. There's only 3 possible explanations.
Bank Scene:
1. is before Joker is bleached
2. Joker is suppose to be wearing flesh colored makeup under that mask
3. Joker applies makeup in the film but not in this scene because he's wearing a mask
