I'm assuming that the memorial is being held in Metropolis. Is it ok for anyone to get in on it? If not i'll edit my post.

Finally got another post in. I thought since my Aquaman stuff in the other DC RPG was over, I would be more active. I've just been having the worst writer's block I guess.
 
When that memorial post supposed to happen? I was hoping to have something happen in unison with it...but it's been days since Karem-Knight mentioned it.
 
I know I'm really pushing myself to the limit, but...

I'm seriously considering coming back. But not as Superwoman. I still don't know who yet, but it has to be someone good enough for me to risk overstretching myself...so...
 
It'd be good to get someone who can shed some light on what's happened with the Wonder Woman mythos.

That's... really all I got on suggestions. :(

Yeah...I'll leave that to someone who actually KNOWS the Wonder Woman mythos. :oldrazz:

I see possible Titans all over the roster, so that's the direction I was essentially shooting for...but I also want to play a legacy character. :csad:
 
You might shoot byrd a PM. He's got plans for the new Titans. Maybe he could help you figure something out.

Screen Name: Eddie Brock Jr.
Character you would like to play: Roy Queen, the new Speedy

Powers:

- Expert marksmanship...bordering on superhuman accuracy
- Ultrasonic scream (Yes, he inherited the Canary Cry)
- Peak level athleticism

Hero/Villain: Hero

Identity (Public/Secret?): Secret

Origin (If not a new character, a recap of events leading to how your character got to what they are today): Roy is the son of Oliver Queen and Dinah Laurel Lance - better known as Green Arrow and Black Canary, respectively. Roy trained with his father and mother so he could defend himself. He also learned how to operate several forms of projectile weapons - predominantly the bow.

Now, in his teenage years, with his father still holding the Green Arrow mantle, Roy has decided to follow in his namesake's footsteps and become the new Speedy.

Personality: Roy is a combination of his parents. He fights for the "little guy" - like his father. He also got a taste of his father's argumentative nature. He has inherited his mother's courage and fearlessness.


Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1) [Annoying Asian Chick Voice] Teen Titans! [/Annoying Asian Chick Voice]

2) Green Arrow is awesome...and we all know it. :o

3) I can shoot an apple off your head! Wanna see? :yay:

Write two complete sentences using proper English grammar explaining what you plan to do with the character you've chosen (i.e. What are your goals? Will you be doing anything different with the character than is usually seen?): It's going to be like Smallville's Green Arrow - only younger...and with a power. It'll be fun breaking those vigilante laws as a teen hero.

How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as absolutely necessary.

Color and font you plan on using for your characters speech: Red Fixedsys

How did you find out about this game, Recruitment thread/word of post/seeing the RPG OOC/IC thread? I was in this initially...so I've known about it since the application stage.

Please provide a small sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 3 paragraphs long and contain at least one line of dialogue):

"Shall I break?" I ask my friends. One of them motions for me to go ahead. "Watch this."

I chalk up my pool cue and approach the table. Another of my friends hands me the cue ball. I place it down and line up my shot. I pull back the cue slowly as all eyes are on me. With one swift thrust forward, the cue connects with the cue ball. That little, white ball rockets forward and connects with the 1 ball.

Suddenly, a chain reaction occurs as all the balls convert their potential energy into kinetic energy, and they all fly across the smooth, green surface. I watch silently as each ball - except the 8 ball - slides smoothly into their own pocket.

The 8 ball rolls slowly, carefully towards the pocket on my right. The look on my friends' faces is nothing but pure and utter shock. I doubt they've ever seen someone sink all the balls on the first shot. The 8 ball slows to nearly a complete stop before dropping into the pocket.
