It's 7:15 am. I've been watching this since 11:25 last night. Can I risk getting a few hours sleep now, or will I miss something?

I slept at 8PM UK time and woke up about 3AM, the good stuff happens when work/school starts for us.

Pay attention next time a candidate talked about going against the "Establishment". Obama did it in 2008, and now Trump did it. Clinton did not learn anything from her primary run against Obama, and now apparently she made the same mistake with Bernie.

Bernie's lost to Clinton was mainly because he had no infrastructure & powerful backers including media exposure. Obama had his Chicago outfit, a lot of powerful backers and very good analytics.

A lot of people very obviously still wanted to give the finger to the establishment this election. They did that the only way they still could by voting Trump.

Anyone see that Clinton will not give a speech tonight? Even if she loses she's not going to give a concession speech. That's the exact elitist type of attitude that cost her this freaking election. She could give a speech to try to put pressure on Trump to make sure h brings this country together instead her ego is too bruised that she can't face the American people. Absolutely pathetic.

It's 2 am. Yes, Trump has most likely won but this is probably the biggest upset in modern history. I think it's reasonable to send her supporters home and give her time to process. If it were this close and Hillary was in the lead, I wouldn't expect Trump to gives a speech now either.

Clinton might be waiting to speak when she has the national popular vote lead if more of California gets counted and what if anything that means in her message going forward.

Nah, I'm gonna pass out. I'll bring my iPad to bed with me though so I can continue listening to BBC News.

She's waiting on votes. The writing is on the wall and she lost, but she's waiting on the votes. I think the shock of losing a race that polls told her she would win by a landslide hit hard and the campaign needs to compose itself. Just speculating of course.

You need to have both speeches written ready and prepared. McCain gave a great speech to try to bring people together after the election, Clinton needs to give a heck of a speech here to put pressure on Trump.

Considering whats at stake she shouldn't concede until all the votes are in. Isnt Trump still at 265? He hasn't won until he gets 270.

This. He hasn't hit 270 yet so of course she's waiting. I'm fairly certain she's lost, as is pretty much everyone, but there's nothing too bizarre about this.

Letting Trump control the message tonight might be a bad idea for Clinton to not speak at all.

He'll declare himself the winner whether votes are being counted or not.

Why should she give a speech at this point? Although it doesn't look good, it's not 100% certain the results and final.

This is not a case Trump has like 300+ electoral votes at this point and she has no logical way to get over 270

Wait an hour or two and it will be settled.

I don't like it but a guy on good morning Britain made a good point Hilary felt like she was entitled to this and it was a sure thing which may have cost her a lot of voters

But seeing the reaction on twitter I know I'm from Northern Ireland and have no say buy in all honesty I'm kinda ashamed at being a white straight man because of the slime and filth I'm gonna be lumped in with

Wisconsin should be in any minute now -- 98% reporting

I'm debating staying up for this or not. Clinton won't speak until tomorrow regardless it seems, but I really want to see if these last few states finish their initial counts soon.

Exactly, and without Wisconsin she loses so the fact that she can't give a concession speech tonight is utterly ridiculous and a shame. Just as much of a shame as Trump wining this Presidency. Showing that she wasn't fit for this office either apparently.

I've never been one for Hillary, but the country is falling apart and a lot of people are going to look to her to give them hope and peace of mind. A lot is riding on her a lot more than any mere exit speech, this is close to a major blow close to an attack. She can't blow it.
