The Mandalorian releasing on November 12th is perfect timing. People are gonna be even more excited if that show is great, which I have a feeling it will be. I think having the entire SW collection on Plus (I think) at launch has a good chance of driving up ticket sales.

It is definitely the Skywalker lightsaber, and is repaired. Daisy teased the idea that we could also see her with another lightsaber. One of her own making.

I can see Kylo being given the Skywalker one, while she makes her own.

I think the title is referencing Kylo's return to being Ben, personally, by the film's conclusion and we'll have Rey as Luke's daughter and they'll be cousins.

if you're going to title the last episode in the 9 part Skywalker saga, Rise of Skywalker, then the only meaningful outcome for me would be Rey is a Skywalker.

unless they magically resurrect Luke or discover he didn't really die. but I don't see that happening.

or else Kylo turns to the Light. But that wouldn't be that satisfying to me, since Kylo hasn't been positioned as the main character. And once you kill your dad point blank, it's kind of hard to redeem yourself......lol.

You get me man. The title can't be only a reference to Kylo. Such a flip, would feel just like that. A flip. I am fine with his redemption, but he doesn't get to be the hero here. That is Rey.

right. that's why I feel Rey being a Skywalker, whether she's a Skywalker/Solo kid, or its revealed she's a clone (Anakin or Luke) or Anakin reincarnated, is the most satisfying outcome.

it would be different if Kylo were positioned as the main character and he was more of an anti-hero going on a redemption arc ( like Starkiller in Force Unleashed games ). then I could see the title applying to Kylo.

but as it stands now? not really.

it has to be Rey. I think. I hope.
