TBH, the excitement for me has already died down to...nothing, I think.

I think its because I want more, I want more excitement that a later trailer will give me, and I think the title is becoming more and more questionable. Like "what does it mean?" plus "why not something else?"

Luke saying "We've taught you all we know, but this is your fight." makes me think that Luke and Yoda and maybe Obi have been training Rey during the year that's passed between TLJ and this film. It also makes me think Luke is just gonna disappear after her training and not get involved in the fighting in any way. Which really just chaps my ass. Such a ****ing missed opporopport to do something amazing with the force ghosts.
I think it's meant for Ben Solo and not Rey.

I'm glad to see that Daisy looks more like herself in the teaser. She was experiencing some health issues during the filming of The Last Jedi that resulted in her looking well puffy and not quite like herself. I take it her health is hopefully better now.
This is just flat out wrong. They had a plan. The original script was taken from Lucas idea for the ST.
And Michael Arndt was working on a strong treatment for the whole trilogy, but Disney had a hard deadline of 2015 for the release of Episode 7 and Arndt wasn't working fast enough for them. So JJ and Kasdan had to try and pull something together for Episode VII on a very compressed timeline.

Or to Harken back to George’s original Revenge finale, this is Luke acknowledging as a Force Ghost he cant help... no matter how much she may need him.

the sinister laugh at end got me DAM U JJ
Even better at the panel when the lights come back on he (Ian McDiarmid) is standing right there grinning. Then asks the audance ....want to watch it again... Fantastic!

She had health issues? I just thought she got super buff for TLJ.

I want to see more of that chase scene. Gave me a little ROTJ vibe

Where did tis come out?

He didn't tell Han tat's BS and you know it.

It's like Han activated Kylo's lightsaber BS.
Vile, have you watched TFA in a while? He knows where Luke went, because he tells Rey and Finn the story about Luke disappearing. He is telling it like a story he heard, but he clearly knows. Just like he knows what Kylo did.

It is in the movie. :funny:

"The people who knew him best think he went looking for the first Jedi temple."

Yeah, endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Causing skin and hormone issues. I figure the puffiness was from high dose prednisone or something.

Voted 6.

It started interestingly enough. By the end I was underwhelmed. Some nice looking shots, but overall it felt incredibly lame and pandering. This hints at JJ playing to his absolute worst habits, and I'm frankly gobsmacked at all of the fanboy excitement over Palpatine's return after years of complaints about the ST rehashing old tropes and 'ruining' the classics. The title is pretty weak too. It all has a fan-film vibe to it so far, I hope to be proven wrong.

Holy ****... that makes sense. I just thought she put on more muscle, because she was super thick in Express as well. Well, hopefully she is doing better. The woman is a marvel. Also, considering the rock she had on her hand during the panel, soon to make a young man very happy.

I have never once said this. Just so I am clear, as I am very excited about this.

Exactly, think. They don't know for sure.

Uh huh... so they just guessed where he was. Even as Kylo, the one who was closest to him, didn't have any idea? Sure, sure, sure... makes sense.

What do you mean by pandering? What are you refering to?

There was an article about her staring her struggles and finally starting to get some relief in late 2016 when TLJ was wrapping up. The buffness wouldn't explain her face. If anything, she would look leaner in the face. If JJ does make her a Skywalker, her different look in TLJ is a chip off the old block.

You are speculating and making up fan theories again. Like Snoke was the first Jedi from that emblem in the temple.

No. What you are suggesting is Han randomly guess that Luke went to the first Jedi temple in TFA. In a movie, where someone who knows the Skywalker family had half of the map to Luke. Forget whether he left it or not. I'll concede he didn't. The issue is, they know where Luke is. How do they know? They guessed?

By the way, they don't say the map might be to Luke. They know it goes to Luke. At the start of TFA, they know the map's destination leads to Luke Skywalker. It's not a guess.
