Kroll said Sersi is the lead and Gemma is the lead according to Borys Kit. So thats definitely who she's playing.

I Just finished Neil Gaiman's run on the Eternals over the weekend which was pretty spectacular. Not sure if this movie is taking inspiration from his run but I'd love if they did

I’m gonna sound absurd, but Chan is definitely Elysius (assuming Elysius is still in the film). Not only does she resemble the character, but there’s already a link between Elysius and the Kree that could be used to explain the casting, if Marvel so chooses: in the comics, Elysius is Mar-Vell’s lover and mother of his children: by artificially impregnating herself or whatever and creating basically clone children. And there you go - Minn-Erva was merely one of her descendants who happened to bear her same looks.
I know I’m wrong - but I enjoy being creative with my theorizing.

I wanted an Asian actress for Sersi, so I'm happy - presuming she is Sersi.

Starfox is far more likely IMO

Hopefully they recast her as Sersi.

Colin Ford was also wasted in Captain Marvel, he appeared for like 2 seconds, smh. I wanted him to play Johnny Storm / Human Torch.

If he's Starfox it's a safe bet they'll ditch the superhero name, and just call him Eros.

Scoopers are still saying that Karen and Sersi are two separate characters, but if Chan is playing the former then there's no way she's just a regular human. That would mean wasting Chan again, and I can't see Marvel doing that.

Yes and YES. The worst part of Captain Marvel was the fact that we didn’t get to see his blue ass again.

And I love him as Ronan but I’d be so down for him playing another character in the MCU.

Seriously; it would be cool to see Marvel to a movie like that with like 15 different main characters. I mean, I guess you could say that's what Infinity War and Endgame were but we had multiple movies establishing people. It would be interesting to see them do a movie with a TON of new characters and see if they can find the right balance so no one gets shortchanged.

We don't know that all those characters are still part of the movie. Also, not all of them will have a large role. I'm sure some will be the size of a Frigga, Zuri or Maria Hill.
