That’s fine for you but some people want representation for a lead because their life lacked one when growing up. I’m sure those who never got it when they were growing up would like the next generation of kids to have something they never got in a super hero film.

Heck no to Luke Evans as Hercules. He is nowhere near the size or stature needed. Get him for someone else like Starfox. He doesn't even seem to have the right personality for Herc.

I'd prefer someone like Joe Manganiello. Or someone big and showy like him.

Marvels Hercules is based on Steve Reeves, who was a bodybuilder. You need someone with that kind of physique. Even someone like Henry Cavill.

I'm just going off people speculating Hercules will be the gay character. Thor was very much a "bodybuilder" type in the comics too. Hemsworth is in great shape but I wouldn't say he's a bodybuilder type.

Giving Hercules a physique like Luke Evans is changing Hercules way too much. Even the name Hercules conjures up someone musclebound and super strong. If you're going to get Evans as Hercules, you might as well create a new character. He could work in a different franchise that just wanted to create an original Hercules, like how they did with Kevin Sorbo for Hercules the Legendary Journeys. But Marvel's Hercules has such a specific look based on Steve Reeves.

And although Hemsworth isn't a bodybuilder, he was very muscular as Thor. Yes, Evans could pack on muscle, but he's too different . It would be like having Hiddleston as Thor.

And Evans far more resembles Starfox anyway.

Carver is good...and good-looking. Luke Evans is a great actor, but I think he’s a bit too lean for Hercules: though, I suppose, he could bulk up.
