I’m just excited to see who they cast for Sersi (and the rest of the roles!)
Me too!

I phrased that post wrong, sorry about that. I mean to say: it seems to matter to you, even though you’ve just said it doesn’t matter to you. I’m confused about which it is.
Carver is good...and good-looking. Luke Evans is a great actor, but I think he’s a bit too lean for Hercules: though, I suppose, he could bulk up.
So who do you guys think should play Sersi?
I think he doesn't really look right for Hercules even if he bulked up. Even someone like Cavill I'm not sure is right. I think Joe Manganiello fits better both looks wise and personality wise.
So who do you guys think should play Sersi?
Depends on what the story needs her to be. What is her role. Is she a leader? Is she vulnerable? She a ninja? Will she need the audience to love her? Hate her? Fear her?

I would love to see an Asian actress get the role. Maybe someone like Maggie Q?
Don't know. She's on Designated Survivor.

Honestly Constance wu is the only one I can see in the role
So I saw that report on CBM that said they are looking at Cameron Britton for Ikaris? Ummm... that’s... unexpected casting, if true.
Ooh, man. I really hope not. As a supporting character or someone else, maybe. He's a really good actor, but I don't think he's a fit for Ikaris
Manganiello looks too lean to me too. And older than I would imagine Hercules.
I imagine, I guess, someone more like Brant Daugherty.
But while they can both bulk up, Manganiello looks more like Hercules than Evans, at least facially. And he has more of that bravado that you'd equate with Herc than Evans has. That's why I'd even hesitate with Cavill, because although he's got the size, he still always seems a bit of an English gent, even when he was playing Superman.
That would be absolutely AmazingHonestly Constance wu is the only one I can see in the role

If Hercules is meant to be based on the Greek myth of Heracles, then he was married to Megara, daughter of King Creon. He also had children, but he suffered a fit of madness and killed them. This led to the twelve tasks of Hercules to atone for his crime. That's pivotal to the myth.
So I don't know that he'd be a gay character. Why do people think it will be Hercules?
