Promo Poster for The Expendables 2

We spotted this promo poster for The Expendables 2 tonight which lists the full cast for the sequel, including Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The skull poster design is identical as what was used for the first film, though this is just promo art and most definitely not an official poster for the film. The poster for the first film can be viewed here.

The Simon West-directed follow-up is currently filming for an August 17, 2012 release.

Donnie turned down the role due to scheduling conflict and he also wants to stay with his kid.

Yeah, that Hemsworth has become a semi-well known name after Thor, even if they are trying to trick us into thinking the popular Hemsworth is the one in this.

Casting the Other Hemsworth and having people think it's Thor when it's not is like casting Frank Stallone in a movie and having people think its Sly.

yeah, that's the story straight from sly himself, apparently. stallone seemed to think van damme was too strong for segal at the time. i agree. at his peak van damme was a beast and he was probably high on coke to boot; segal has never been physically imposing and while strength isn't everything, i just don't see him being able to take out jcvd at the time.
