The sequel to this movie will be FFINO: Spirit of Trank. :o

Spirit of Vengeance is somehow worse than the original Ghost Rider.

A hundred times worse. I can watch the first GHOST RIDER, I find it funny....but the next one, that was just painful to watch.

Yeah, that one I read not to long ago (SMH...) I'm talking about the one we had pinned in over this forum the past 8 or so months.

Ah, got ya. Yeah, I don't see it anymore. But that was so long ago, there are probably 100 things we could add by now.

It's not that bad. I honestly think that Nicholas Cage is the reason it's bad. He's just so wrong for the role. Picture someone like Toby Kebbell being Johny Blaze with the same script. It's actually a decent movie.

Anyway, back to this movie, it seems the closer we get, the more money it seems to be losing at the BO. I maybe wrong but didn't Boxofficepros decrease their BO total again?

It's still in the forum. You just have to search for it past the last 30 or 60 days or whatever. It's just unstickied and not deleted.

If Avi can't secure Michael Gracey for Naruto like he wants, they should hire Trank. The world is ready for Michael B. Jordan to play Naruto Uzumaki, believe it! :o

Well with Miles Teller basically saying this is a bad movie, what is left to be positive about?

I'm just waiting for "They'll get it right in the sequel!" It's been awhile.

Yeah, there were some things in the first Ghost Rider that even LionsGate couldn't foul up..................................until they made SOV.

the minuscule chance that marvel and fox come to some sort of agreement

that is assuming the movie bombs

Well that's going to be a smaller deal than if the film was a hit but Marvel managed to merge universes with Fox.

At the same time, I can see Marvel playing hardball and offering a whole big wad of cash along with the X-Men TV rights for the FF back along with certain things bundled with the X-Men (Shi'Ar, Taskmaster, Starjammers, Viper, Juggernaut and Brood. Possibly also Kang if its his connection to Apocalypse which is keeping him at Fox. Juggernaut would be the only one shared since the rest are either limited by being at Fox or Fox has no plans to ever use them again). There you go. Fox get their TV show and more money than if the film was actually successful and Marvel get some precious IP back like complete cosmic rights. James Gunn has been vocal about how much he wants the Shi'Ar and Badoon and if Marvel get the FF back, they should also bid for the Shi'Ar.

That was all Sony and Avi Arad. Lions Gate had nothing to do with that.

As I said before, and this is a direct quote, "Rarely are films of this size critically well received," he said. "This is not a movie we're going to go on (review website) Rotten Tomatoes and it's going to be at 80 or 90 per cent."

Yet Ant-Man, another film with a troubled history, is nipping at that rarified air. Along with four other Marvel film adaptations just last year.

With FFINO crawling to opening week one would hope the people associated with this film would stop the endless stream of lies. Hopefully they'll come clean in "Tranked: The Untold Story Behind Fant4stic". Or will it be "Torched"?

Teller hasn't been the best at pushing this thing. 'Not for Kids' was another memorable faux pas. A cbm based on a family of superheroes....not for kids...

Don't even joke. Josh Trank directing another big budget studio film is the stuff nightmares are made of.

Trank will direct the next Jurassic Park sequel. The dinosaurs in there will look like this:

I think Cage's loonacy was fine.....he didn't detract from the film's likeability for me. It was other stuff that they did.....and I can't give you specifics right now....I saw the movie once, and was completely turned off by it. I will watch it again sometime in the near future just to see if I still hold that opinion or if I change my mind about it.

This whole thing has been absolutely crazy.:loco:

They could have made the exact same film and they'd have a lot more people giving it a chance if they had just said the right things.

Instead of "They'll see it anyway" - "On August 7th, the fans will see we're making the film they're hoping for."

Instead of "It's a coming of age story" - "It's a story of adventure and discovery."

Instead of talking about man-boobs, talk about Kirby and Lee.

The movie might still suck just as hard, but there would be a lot more people willing to give it a chance,if they just made the slightest effort to say some of the right things.
