The FFINO ZONE - Part 3

Just got home from this silly, dull, stupid, soulless, arrogant abomination. Had no plans in seeing this until a good friend who i dont hang with as much these days paid for two tickets. I feel like this movie hates its own audience? Want an intriguing plot? Nope, not for you. Want a likable and enjoyable team of heroes? Go see avengers. Want some action? Dont know the meaning of the word. Want a good villain? Please, more the most cliche eye rolling piece of trash ever. I blame all of them for this waste of oxygen. Fox and Trank should both be Ashamed of themselves. You're supposed to maKe the best film you could possibly make. Even when things go wrong, give it All your heart. There is none here. This doesn't even qualify as a real film.

You had your chance to convince him to return those tickets and see something else.

Yes i did, and feel like a complete moron for not doing so. Prasing Rogue Nation heavily didn't work. Then again my boy is the type to hear a film is bad and see if its really that bad.

You know, I actually wouldn't mind a Thing who has something of a kill count. . .

. . . at least, if this were the "veteran soldier" Ben Grimm, or some variation on that. If Ben Grimm is an ex-Marine with 20 years of service and a bunch of commendations? I could buy him being asked to return to service, perhaps for the odd "special mission". It could create an interesting contrast from his more usual work with the Fantastic Four, with Ben Grimm the Celebrity Explorer feeling different ( in ways good and bad ) than Ben Grimm the Soldier. Perhaps throw in a minor subplot that, since the Thing is largely indestructible to conventional force, he is slower to use deadly force against the enemy than when he was just a man.

But instead we're talking about a scrawny teenager

Fantastic Four - MARVEL Superhero film opens

Keyword there MARVEL & NOT FOX

My wife has officially told me......do not mention the FANTASTIC FOUR in any way shape or form again.......

Guess my complaints will only be expressed on the Hype from now on.

I've mentioned it to my girlfriend every day for the past week and a half, updating her on every new revelation and update. She is also unamused.

During ancient times when FFINO supporters frequented these boards, they would often question why FF fans would post with such bitterness towards a silly superhero reboot. What they didn't understand - what they couldn't comprehend - was that those angry posts were saving marriages.

This got a chuckle from me. Keep up the good work

Watching the Story FF on AMC and thinking about simpler times. :(

LOL is this real?

Watched some Corman FF again. I've never had the nerve to fully watch that thing from start to finish at one sitting, but I've probably seen the whole movie in bits.

I think it's the best FF movie ever made.

I'm watching it too. Forgot how cheesy it was.

My Facebook friend who saw it said it was awful and someone who went with said they're going to pretend the first one is the only one. I saw F4 only made 14 million Thursday and Friday combined.

At least it's self aware of it's cheesiness. :o:oldrazz:

I did the same yesterday. That one henchman kinda resembled Toby Kebbell with longer hair.

"Please, just...JUST TELL US WHAT TO DO!! WHAT DO YOU WAAAANNTT???!!!"
Funny because fans have made it abundantly clear what they've wanted since this production started.
