The FFINO ZONE - Part 3

I have to apologise on behalf on my (idiot) fellow countrymen. Apparently F4 will narrowly beat MI:RN this weekend in the UK with £2.7mil over MI's £2.4mil...grrrr :csad:
You guys got it a little earlier it sounds like -- and by taking one early for the team you were able to warn off the rest of us. UK viewers seemed to be out in front spreading the word as well.

FYI,

I like the Collider and Screen Junkie guys, but it is hilarious to me how about a week ago most of them were all in on this movie and loving the trailers and stuff, and now they are trashing it like everyone else. They all defended the trailers and were like Doom looks great, tone looks great, etc.

Hey, don't look at me. lol

It blows me away that almost 1 out of 10 reviewers think this even qualifies as a complete movie, let alone that's got more good than bad in it.

Has Bleeding Cool weighed in after Rich Johnston backtracked the other day?

Apparently John Compea from Collider gave FFINO a 3/10 but still recommended to movie anyway. Is that true? What's up with that?

It's not very good, but see it anyway!

Same nonsense a variety of people that backed the wrong horse are saying.

Raiden, I think he was basically saying it's so bad that you have to see it to be in awe of its badness I suppose. i could've misinterpreted it but whatever.

Oh, Bleeding Cool definitely backtracked. Rich gave a positive review and told people to see it. This after over a year of articles lambasting the Fantastic Four and breaking lots of rumors. Even weirder... now many of the rumors are turning out to be facts.

Except he says its better than the Tim Story films. While those aren't any good, they aren't a complete trainwreck. So by his logic, FFINO is at least better than subpar movies, which wouldn't put it in the "so bad it's good category". Campea has always struck me as having some kind of personal stake on this movie, and he was hoping the film wouldn't bomb to atleast help Fox warrant a sequel. We should reward good cinema by not seeing FF.

Personally, I think this film is way too dull and dreary to be a guilty pleasure like the Room.

Ugh, I'll watch those movies all day before I see this one again. At least those had Chiklis and Evans and the four were actually together the entire thing and had a little tiny bit of fun.

You can tell The Chris is still angry over this movie by the way his keystrokes almost punch right through your screen.

Maybe I'm thinking too much along the lines of Chiklis (who I liked as Ben) , but would the guy who was Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad make a good Thing?

Also if they were to do Thing in cartoon again on Disney I wouldn't mind them doing something like J.K. Simmons and have Chiklis voice Ben.

As were a lot of youtuber's over the past few months. Commanding everyone to give this a chance and branding those that were unhappy with what they saw as rabid fanboys.

Well all that ridicule is coming back to bite them in the rear now :hehe:

I'd be down with Dean Norris as the Thing.

I think he's a bit too old but he would be a cool choice.

Dave Boat has been voicing Thing for all his appearances on Avengers Assemble, Agents of SMASH and Ultimate Spider-Man.

Fred Tatasciore voices him on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Personally I always thought of the FF as a bit older. If you have a Reed who is middle-aged then Ben would be similarly aged, with Sue around the same age or slightly younger and then Johnny younger than them.

Yeah, I had a feeling they probably had done him already. I don't really follow the latest Marvel cartoons.

If John DiMaggio was a live action actor, he'd be a friggin awesome choice all around. He'd be able to give the character some much-needed heart.

Me too but he's 50-something right now, by the time his opportunity would roll around he'd be way too old imo.
