The Final Swing

Since spidey won't be wearing the symbiote by then, and since Venom will be dead, spidey will have his red and blue suit. For the background,it could be at night.

I agree with GoldGoblin...we've seen Spidey swing during the day in both movies...seeing Spider-Man make his last swing in nighttime will be good...and people should stop saying 'At the end of S-M 3, they should show Venom ontop of a roof watching him from afar'...

I totally agree. I have three problems with CG Spider:
1. Looks fake compared to final swing Spidey from the first movie
2. Sometimes the poses and movements look weird/unrealistic
3. Doesn't look like it has weight; when it swings it doesn't look like it's being pulled down properly
I seriously hope their rectify this for the next movie. The first Spider-man had the best looking Spidey in their final swing, it looked real, it's movements looked normal and fluidic, and the body seemed to fall properly. The second looked like crap. Hopefully third time's a charm.
not only at teh end but throuth the whole movie. and all the swinging that i saw from spidey 3....its the same problem. like he is a feather.
and this has nothign to do with the comic book genre and fantasy. if you have spidey in new york where people have weight than you also need to give him weight.

the final swing will be a pile of toss, the sooner people realise this, the sooner you can all sleep better at night.

it's clear that their idea of improvements are going in the wrong direction.

sure the action scenes seem to be improving but at a detrimental cost to the web slinging, meh

I've never been too happy with the web slinging, period. The only time it looked good was at the end of the 1st movie and when spidey was chasing after the train. However, during the 7minute clip, when peter, thank God was finally shown swining with both arms, showed a lot of potential but still looked kind of hammy. The web slinging needs a major overhaul, I mean seriously, after 2 movies in the bag, you'd think they had it nailed by now....and if we have seen bits of the last swing sequence for sm3, then I have a stong feeling it may suck. The last swing in sm2 was just......a sin.

I would be happy with if they did use Venom at the end of the movie instead of the swing seeing that they did say something about leaving something open at the end and about a cliff hanger at Comic Con. I would prefer to see Venom to apparently "die" Brock that is then to see as Spiderman swings off victorious like in the first 2 the camera to go back down to a barley alive brock and symboite crawling back to him and to rejoin with him. Seeing that the only way for Brock to survive is with the symboite and it with him. and then show Venom still alive at the end.:sym:

there's also that edited sequence just after the bank sequence that is actually really pleasing to the eye, why they cut that, only god knows...

the swinging seen in the harry fight was pretty aweful, his legs were no where to be seen, deadweights and his style had completely changed from the previous films, which will then re-change once he's in his costume. I would wish they made it consistent.

the problem with movie makers is that they have a problem and get something right but have a desire to tinker with it more and more until they undo all their original hardwork

i mean simply look at the mtv spidey series and the best episodes of the 90s animated series (turning point, armed and dangerous), movie spidey will NEVER move like that, and there's no real reason for it...

what are you talking about :wow:

you know he drops off aunt may and all those crazy girls are going 'save me save me'

then he does a lil swing sequence...

i've got a longer version of it on a pirate disc, I also have a variation of the 'I want spiderman' swing when he gets his costume back and it then you find out its a reflection in ock's eyes...

and who says pirate copies are all bad...

:o

dude are you sure that this was not in the theater?
i saw at home teh swing from aunt may and i also saw when he swings from JJ and then we see ocks reflection.

*sigh*

edited doesn't always mean completely taken out, it can refer to being shortened as well ya know...

:o

besides the second one is a different swing altogether...similar to the way that the footage of venom is now different to the comic con one.

i think the first one was made only for the teaser.

if this was a teaser that starts off with peter and mj talking in a cafe then yep

I would like it to be the same as the first 2, its a trademark, dont screw with what works.

What if the swing in 2 was a cliffhanger to like Sandman?

Spiderman swings off at night to think about his future

and soon we see Venom watching as he swings and sinisterly smile

and then he jumps off a building

I think it would be great, just for a laugh, if Spidey swung into the side of a Daily Bugle truck.

PS. Mr. 7000: The second movie's final swing was amazing. Idiot.

Spider-Man swings off, holding Mary Jane.
This perhaps?

No, I doubt it, it was after the battle royale- (aprox. two scenes later)...

I do enjoy those last scenes. No idea what it should be, though! But if this is the last movie, it should be twice as long as the one from 2, with a lot more acrobatics, and just grander in general. Lots of sunlight and shininess would probably be fitting, as the general tone of the movie beforehand would be dark. Maybe end the scene with him swinging into his apartments window with Mary Jane standing there waiting for him.

(STOOGES FOREVER!):cwink:

how many awesom aerial tricks can a spider do when hes hauling his girlfriend along?

Dammit, I knew that would be it.

This really is the last Spider-man movie...
Well, this would imply that there would be no more problems between Peter and MJ, thus meaning that the center of these stories (MJ and Peter's romace) would be concluded. However, they still could conclude other essential parts of the series such as Aunt May's death and complete Doctor Conner's character to make another sequel.
